im never one to comment on the directing/filmography but its difficult not to address the elephant in the room - the choice of back and fourth shots of the ml and fl when they're talking (esp the scene at end of ep 2) where each shot is a diff expression is... intersting....
felt like a huge chunk of depth was missing from the plot, esp the last half hour ish, like it was honestly looking…
like how are you going to make the ml appear again with no explanation😭😭😭 did the screenwriter just give up or what 😭😭 wouldve been such a good film as well if they executed that better

halfway through ep 14 and my heart really does ache for fl's mother bc as much as she has her faults being a mother, this is her first lifetime as one and she has to deal with her husband's awful side of the family while she has lost her own. you can tell she loves fl, but is unable to express it freely. the scene where she breaks down with her husband and talks about divorce really broke me :((
just finished the first two eps and finding it super interesting but ml better have a character developement arc soon bc he is pissing me off sm lmaoo. maybe im too easily irratated but honestly if i was the fl i would've def thrown hands by now LOLL. love the acting sm so far - jingyi never misses and yirans good(wbk) enough to make me dislike him which has never happened before
i want to just check if i missed a huge chunk or if im being dense, but at the end of ep11, why do fl's maids react like that when she ate the fish(?) that ml gave her?? like why did they gasp like that is there some meaning im not getting it or what lmao
on ep 5 and idk how to feel about this drama... the cast is gorgeous, the acting is alright but the plot.... literally a cliche romance with allll the cliche scenes (the slow-mo fl catch in ml's arms, the slo-mo ml reaching for the top shelf above fl etc etc).

plot seems ok so far but something about the acting of the entire cast seems a bit off... maybe its the dubbing thats throwing me off, but even when fl is talking to her rommates the conversations sound so unnatural and don't flow but maybe it's just me who thinks that
