Yeah with all the bad stuff the FLs brother has done, for everytime i have thought this is it now his father will stop going easy on him. I feel like we have already seen the extreme. Makes me scared of what kind of even worse thing he can do to his family/parents.

Also im surprised the ML is still so obedient/passive towards his mother after that fight with her when he broke up with Lin Jie. We can clearly see hes had enough of being controlled

I could be wrong about Bei Bei, but i feel like she has stated her opinion on multiple occassions on her parents taking it too far and Zhen Lei trying to be too filial towards her parents.
When i think about it from her perspective i feel like she does not have the whole picture as we do so from what she knows and the position she has in her family where she is workinfg full time whilst still living at home the amount of power/change she can assert is not that high.
So based on that i would say she "deserves" a better other half. But that is only because Zhen Lei has such a shit personality. Love comes first, which is shown that she is truly in love with him. But in my eyes making him pay for his wrong doings will stioll not make him look like a good character in the end in my eyes. Which is why in the end i say "deserves better".

I agree with you the Leads interactions are really good, I wonder what the tipping point will be for them to get together. I suppose we weill se a few more jealousy bits with the Co-Pilot and ML, but with MLs mother it just seems so hard for the leads to get together. Especially after the FL lead actually tried to pry some more after dislocating her shoulder to no avail :/
Looking forward to ep17 tomorrow, quite catching ending on ep16.

Episode 13, when FL brother talked to beibei outside the company showing no regret other than if they just didn't get caught trying to sell the house as if thst was the problem. I think ML and FLs relationship is progressing at a steady pace. But can we just cutoff FLs brother and the in-laws. Also improve the parents characters not to be so overbearing and extreme.Wasn't the Co-pilot close to confessing? Maybe we'll see a full confession soon and maybe even they try dating due to FLs circumstances?

Damn the part about how they go into each and every characters story super in depth. After watching across the ocean to see you. It made me really feel that these types of dramas could and maybe should have made the 2nd couples get their own drama due too how much of a story they got

What boggles my mind even more is that MGTV licenses so many dramas throws them up on YouTube a platform banned in China and doesn't subtitle it. Like who is your target audience? Sure there are other countries that use YouTube and speak Chinese but cmon.

Is there any place to watch this with subs and all muaic/oat being played? The "official"YouTube uploads mute like 90% of the music which takes away sooo much of the feeling :(

Yes only YS and and JJ had evidence but as was shown JJ and YS was blasted in media about making money through illegal document sharing etc. How was thst resolved? Them forgiving DL doesn't solve the problem of what is out in the media so just brushing everything off after DL meets YS doesn't really make sense imo. Edit: this is just trying to be fair not me wanting to change the outcome, I just think there's missing alot of info

Okay, I just finished ep36. Man I liked most of the proposal part. Although I feel like the Du Lei part got cut short. JJ confronts him, then skip to him meeting YS. Bam the whole thing is over. Now JJ is suddenly all back to normal at work as if nothing happened and YS gets a salary cut. Nothing is explained and what doesn't make sense is that DL is free to go. The shit he pulled should probably cause some nail time and I think seeing him in jail atoning for his wrong doings would have made me feel some compassion for his character but seeing him go free whilst Linda at least turned herself in man. (I'm happy for Linda though, her turning herself in was good for her character although she was sort of cornered) The last 6 or so episodes should have been made to only a proposal/epilogue or they should have expanded on the DL story and actually explaining stuff.Also what's with all Chinese dramas trying to give every goddamn character a good ending. Please stop this Mr screenwriter. You are allowed to leave "evil" characters with a bad ending7.5 from me, would have been higher if not for how they wrapped up the last 6 episodes I think.

Watching ep 35 right now, made me think even mroe of what an asshole Du Lei is when you think about that Linda actually came forward and admitted her missatakes although when she was cornered, and Du Lei hugged her after the whole Lin Taimo thing. But hes even worse of a person.

Jesus just finished ep 32,kinda cringe how Du Lei is still hanging on to JJ after a 2 year time skip like has he actually been pursuing her.for 2 years after knowing they are JJ and YS are together. This man's got some problems yall.

Edit: also happy to see YS working at GE as he did promise their chairman to do so after the Lin Taimo debacle and we didn't get any mention of this when that problem was resolved

Yeah i mean i liked the moment too but you only get one first "I Love you". i think it wouldve been good enough with just the kiss scene or a mutual "I like you" so they could also save the i love you for a later moment.
