I gave it an 8/10 pretty good overall but not top notch, I wrote a review as well but to keep it short. NJ shouldn't have been in this drama if they were going to give her such a rich character and back story but not use her for more than a little fluff. Now I think I'm going to rewatch YAMG or Intense Love to get that celeb x "normal person" drug
I'm on ep10, it's pretty good so far. Imo it's just straight up good. Nothing feels like it's low production or like a crappy idol drama. The actors are pretty good and the characters are clearly defined and different, nothing too crazy or any makjang, the general story is good, but the writing is not 10/10 as it can feel a bit lacking in some areas.
Not specified in the synopsis but the story seems to be around how the main couples relationship develops from 2003 to the "present".
So all in all the most nitpicking I can do so far is that the main actors can look a bit too old for their roles for how far back the story is right now under the assumption we are going all the way to the present day, also that whenever it rains the rain looks very realistic except for the fact that the actors hair never get wet lol, like I mentioned above although the general plot is good and interesting to follow the execution/writing is not mind blowingly good, and finally I'm just glad to have found a drama that's not too over the top a bit more down to earth and more mature actors instead of your normal idol dramas or 11/10 in looks but no acting skills drama. Also started watching nothing but thirty which also seems to have a bit more mature vibe
Let's go! Didn't know it had started airing already. I'm stoked to watch this. I have liked every drama with ZYX that I've watched, so bet this one will be great as well.
ngl watching episode 14 after their breakup I was like. Yeah, this is probably the best for both of you. Now keep it that way.
Am I understanding it correctly by what CHS said, the foundation was first, but then the foundation started the gambling ring to make money instead of taking donations from 3rd parties? That seems like a pretty stupid idea from the get go
lol @ NBT and JJW waiting outside the disciplinary hearing in daytime, but the hearing is at nighttime.
Lol why would they use a Foundation's logo for their gambling website if they are actually affiliated with the foundation, that's stupid.
Does this mean Choi Hee Soo is the main culprit but the one she is controlling Chief Han is also controlling her presumably dead husband which she doesn't know about? That's kinda fucked up.
Excited for the big revelation of what and why they are doing this. I thought Choi Hee Soo would turn out good but now my mind is just mega fucked
Going by what the preview for ep14 shows. It's going to be a long 6 days waiting for ep15 and 16.
I'm also one of those who didn't like it, nothing against the guy but the way he persuaded her bugs me. I guess…
Yeah, I'm not gonna deny that the reasoning makes sense. She made her feel less lonely by brining people into her life creating a lively environment. But in reality he's not doing it for her, he's doing it for the house. Kind of irks me the wrong way, although I understand the message they want to get across
Episode 12 was excellent, and I'm liking how it's progressing, Both the professors seem to have their motive. KHP being righteous and going by the books but caught at the wrong place, wrong time. CHS Doing for her late husband, to figure out the truth. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out, But let me just say one thing.
Imagine being a criminal doing some really illegal shit and having an easily one of a kind identifiable bar-code tattoo and not covering it up with a scarf or something. I don't know about you, but if I had something like that and was doing this kind of stuff, for sure I'd be covering it with something. At least this part feels like bad writing, like come on, really.
I swear if they lay a fucking finger on KSHs dad Ima be pissed AF. He's too damn sweet.
Who was the guy at the PC Bang, and the guy at the arrest scene. They showed his face but I didn't recognize him. Was it the investigator from the precinct, or just another guy?
I'm so stoked for ep12 now. Although It's kind of sad how they have made all the teachers acharacters grow on you with the drama now making them all bad. hope theres some redemption to be had. Perhaps just as Cheol Jin, the other teachers also had their reasoning.
I don't think they're gonna delve into those accidental encounters, to be honest. I feel (and hope) that they'll…
Totally agree, I wonder how far she will go with the 2nd ML. Will it perhaps end with him asking her to come back to Seoul with him after his business here is done. Where she has to choose whether to stay or not, thinking of all the things have happened so far and how she's become fond of the place and the people. It's a long week ahead of us ^_^
I don't understand the reason for the flashback @ the end of ep6. They already met at the beach by chance when they were kids now they are meeting whilst they are teens as well? Isn't this a bit too far-fetched. The first flashback to the beach i could see as "wow they are destined" but this one i dont really understand.
At the end of next week's episodes will we see a flashback to them meeting by chance while they are in college?
Edit: just to be clear I'm very much enjoying this drama and am looking forward to next week. I started watching police academy as well so Monday and Tuesday won't be so boring haha
Kind of sad CHS is involved in all this but it makes sense as she has always been flirty with YDM since the start, as if to figure him out since they know they are being investigated by him, Although her backstory about her husband seems true as she also talked about that with KHP.
This whole story seems sort of too big, atleast as if it's bigger than the school. There are officers at atleast 2 different stations (The one where Cheol Jin was interrogated, and the one YDM was originally stationed his boss boss seems involved) This case seems so big based on which people are involved so it feels kind of weird as to why the main culprits would be specifically the school staff
Looking forward to next weeks episodes. Wish I waited until it finished so i oculd binge it, this drama is way too enjoyable to watch.

The Flashback/ending scene of episode 7. Was that the same night they kissed, or was it the night when all 3 were drinking?
