It wasn't full on makjang here but in short it's just MLs father dies while mom is pregnant, mom married stepfather because she wants a full family, since she literary owns the hospital she was always well off, the step father has now revealed he only married to become the owner of the hospital/gain social status by marrying up which is also why he was unfaithful and treated Bi Soo like he was his bitch. So nothing too crazy but like I mentioned above there are dramas that do full shows based on these kinds of premises.

That might actually happen, classic ring in cake perhaps?

Ooh, I'm more of a fan of the 2 CEOs having their short scenes. I've seen the CD store owner in too many dramas lately >.<.

They pulled the ol classic, Act like a jerk and say "I'll break up with you because reasons I won't disclose (I'm being black mailed, I have to disappear, etc) It's for your own good" to then coming back 1 episode later and now everything's good. and they somehow resolved their problems.

Well they are dating in public, and they have been since ep 4/5 right? Although she hints at putting and end to it now but Yu Jin is sooo cöingy

It's the usual, "it's best for you" since he's disappearing ahd he thinks this is th ebest for her and for her to move on. But honestly this just makes it look like Bi Soo looks down on the Doctor who appreciates that she found her soul ate whilst Bi Soo sees that as her being stuck in the past.

That first kiss scene in EP25 was like a full 2minute makeout sesh in the BTS lol

Honestly, there is not much to comment on in EP12, it goes about as one could expect. Joo In saying she and Yu Jin shouldn't appear together any more still next day she vists his office, how often you got to meet when you're a spokesperson and I doubt Yu Jin would be the one overseeing all her promotional stuff, it should be someone from PR no?

I think the best thing about this episode was the preview for ep13 knowing that this show will soon be over. So I can watch something that will put a smile on my face and make me feel all warm inside instead.

Agreed, there are full dramas with that kind of plot marry into family and betray etc (The innocent man) But ofc this drama just has to keep adding every sort of possible plot there could be so they had to add that. God this is bad

Each to their own, I'm just amazed you and quite a few other watchers are able to see A "huge" age gap in the leads, I mean especially when the 2nd ML is 50 years old the ML and FL looks closer automatically by that lol

Yes it does have the comedy tag but that is very broad, sometimes this tag is added to slot that features barely any comedy, I just think I came into this with the wrong expectations. Reading the synopsis and from the trailers I watched pre starting this drama my expectations was a serious crime, drama, thriller. Instead what I got was 65% comedy 30% shitty tenants 5% anti hero awesomeness. I'm still enjoying it just not what I expected coming into it. (although even if I had expected comedy I still wouldn't have enjoyed most of the tenant parts, CLOY did side characters 10x better)

Should also take into account the rating bots that MDL cleared a few months ago when all dramas on the site dropped in rating suddenly. Now of course rating bots are active again so the average on the site goes up

I'm not super into this one aswell although it has its good parts. Atleast for me my expectations was a more serious vibe based on synopsis, story, back story, and trailers. But it's soooo much comedy and the tenants are such a drag. The side characters in CLOY were 10x better

Also, honestly. I thought we'd be over the triangle in these episodes but I guess it's like I said above 2nd ML sticks around, time skip, ML comes back. A trope I've seen to many times. Sigh. Now sleep, work, watch ep12 x)

If you watched the preview for ep12 where they hold hands in public, I hope Joo In steps the fuck up. Lay down a foot please. Although I can understand right now it's a difficult position to be in but atleast "breakup" with Yu Jin publicly so you atleast appear single instead of taken by someone else, and if not that go public with Bi Soo (although that would cause a shit storm probably) IF this cohabitation actually happened in real life wouldn't the smart choice have been go public with it and say that you are dating and living together and working on the same drama, for sure it would create a lot of buzz around your drama to pull in more viewerdhip, I'm pretty sure from the news I've seen irl that no one cares if you're dating a director at X or Y company (I know nothing about PR so don't take my word for it lol)

That's what I'm saying, so claming that he's got some talent after working on that is just a no to me haha, and since this is the only script I've watched from him. He's pretty bad imo. Clearly he never had any talent at all lol

I think it was more due to him being so flaky up until that point, disappearing, not willing to communicate etc. Although you might be right since she did see his book where he talked about disappearing and i think she mentioned suicide then aswell
