I think the closest you can get is pre interview with Yu Jin he wishes for her to be his real girlfriend, which she agrees to (with a very weird line which never specifies if its just for his birthday or something else) , she then on the interview talks about their relationship and what not and during the dinner confirms that everything she said was real but at the end says she will consider thekr relationship seriously. So no I don't either think there's ever a point where they are "really" going out. However I think how they are meeting up for dinners, hanging out at Yu Jin's and Joo In's at different occasions whilst "fake dating" doesn't count as meeting as friends or dating around, that seems pretty legit although that may not be her intentions

I think for me it's just a matter of easier wording to express what I mean, she's not really two timing them I just think it's weak of the MLs to accept that kind of situation where they get run over like that to me it's more about an enjoyable watch and something about that situation irks me I do believe she seriously considered Yu Jin unlike some others who stated she always had eyes for HBS as was shown in a lot of interactions between Joo In and Yu Jin and especially during their interview pre and after it. But like I said something about this situation just irks me in the way it's presented of her dating multiple people, I guess that's the best way to present it in drama land as dating around in real life might not be as exciting as telling both potential partners that you like them both in front of each other. I do also want to add that it was kind of stingy watching from Episode 5. Where HBS confesses to Joo In and the same night (where Yu Jin is still only considered a friend) Joo In agrees to start "fake dating" him when she had just told HBS the same night give me some time to me that's juste a huge slap in the face, and how she would on multiple occasions tease HBS about her dating Yu Jin like bruh, stop playing with HBSs feelings. This all adds to the situation feeling off imo as it feels like she's just toying with them both in a way. On mobile right now so no nice formatting, sorry haha

When Joo In talks to her CEO @34 Min Ep9 she says Yu Jin already knows that HBS and Joo In are dating so they didn't show that part either. They are just ksipping past so many scenes that would show the end of the triangle instead we get Yu Jin saying that he will keep pursuing her ,like bruh.

They just had to tack on some Sci-Fi to hopefully pull in more viewers

Agreed, I think overall the cast is really good aswell. I was so relieved HBS told his mom. I felt that since they showed him keeping it a secret it felt kind of suffocating and sad. Giving her a chance to say a word was so nice to watch! Talking is always better than keeping secrets. I hope there's not too much drama about the hospital and who takes ownership of that as that can get a bit all over the place

Agreed, I think it's just the whole Pacing of their relationship is off since she said she likes them both. It's something new so nothing feels really right atm although I almost thought they were gonna have sex when she threw off her cost with that red dress, it was so random lol. Yeah now that you mention it it was just skipped but I mean I'm glad they did it would just be a scene with Joo In and Yu Jin where he says "HBS didn't show up, marry me now"pretty much lol. Yeah there was no scene of her actually telling Yu Jin she chose HBS which was weird they only showed her talking around it" let's wait for him to get better". I'm glad though she was firm with the ad campaign saying no to that. But I agree there should have been a scene with a clear "I love HBS, stop bothering me about this we can stay as friends"

Yeah, wish he'd lay off. I guess in a few episodes we will get the classic "if you love her you will want the best for her and what makes her the happiest" what do you think will happen with the 49 day time limit of HBS? Sure as hell made me take it seriously atleast but it was kind of hinted if you love Joo In truly then your life will. E prolonged. Also glad HBS mother didn't die and it was just him losing his voice from that preview scene on the phone :)

They are in a relationship now, however there were no scenes with Yu Jin where Joo in actually said I don't like you and rather beat around the Bush in a way,like HBS is the one I love and I only like you Yu Jin. She did say to HBS that she likes him and they both confessed and hugged with some heart warming moments

Haha yeah I think so too, I added my example as more to say there is a way to add drama relating to the leads life without adding Sci-Fi

They are now "officially" dating

Episode 9 was good overall it's bringing the story forward on all sides although not in a good way necessarily, I'm glad they could finally get together but why is there a Sci-Fi part in this drama. Up until episode 9 there have been 3 hints of this arc, if you removed the 3 hints then the story still wouldn't be different up until this point as it has had no impact on the characters. It feels like it was just added because they were out of ideas. If they wanted to make it about the ML dying make it more realistic like Uncontrollably Fond, there was no need for a Sci-Fi part to this story. (Take any Rom--Com in your watchlist, ill take WWWSK as an example, imagine if they added this sort of story in episode 10 there LMAO)

Instead of where we are going I would rather see them dealing with their relationship being exposed/going public, Joo In being outed in public as a "two-timer", Yu-Jin plotting against them to keep on chasing her (as he stated he will) instead of this Sci-FI crap.

There are 2 ways for this to play out imo, 1. The Sci-Fi bit gets resolved quickly and it seems stupid because it added nothing to the story, 2. It drags out till the end (oh god I don't think I can watch 6 episodes of that) and becomes a major plot point.

Imagine if HBS didn't find out about his father in episode 9, were the 3 main leads supposed to meet together the day after and Joo In saying "I choose you" LMAO im cringing so hard at that kind of scenario.

Looking forward to ep 10 either way, at this point I just want to see the main leads together happily no matter what the plot even if it turns out bad.

This was only 12 episodes long, might be more romantic in season 2? I haven't watched it yet,does the ending make it go towards a more romance route in s2?

Anyone recognize the music at episode 15, 24:10? Reminds me of some anime I watched a long time ago. (atleast I think it was an anime, it could be something else)

Oh I only watched previews until ep 22 so far. There's only 2 weeks of episodes left I hope next week ends on a good spot instead of them trying to make it even more dramatic the last week.

Omg previews for next week. So ML has pretty much been chasing ML all this time and now they aren't even together and she's gonna "dump him for his own good". This plot though... I swear if she "fake dates" the 2nd FL like in the preview I'm going to be so triggered, literary watching the same thing in oh my Ladylord right now, cba for more of that shit

I watched because this is my first life because I liked LMK in The Beauty Inside. But I didn't really like that drama at all, even with all this crap going on Oh My Ladylord is definitely leaving a better impression on me than that one

Also fine the CEO had to figure out from the doctor what the problem actually was but you cant go sharing that to her "close" friends without her consent like wtf

I am/was a big fan of Lee da hee after seeing her in search WWW and beauty inside. I was planning on watching luca but it didn't pan out that way. Was hoping we'd see her as a lead of maybe a female domineering role but as main lead as she just aces that sort of role. How did they butcher her character in Luca? Sad to hear that :(
