It couldn't be renewed for season 3 because it doesn't even have a season 2.... T_T it's just one season divided into two parts.. but yeah most likely it won't be renewed for a new season given that some cast already have new projects to start but we'll never know for now

I don't think she'll just be a cameo given that she was shown in the trailer. Every main leads and main supporting roles were shown there, and wasn't it already announced by their team that she'd take the lead in part 2 that's why it started a fiasco about Jung Somin being "replaced"? Anyways, we actually haven't seen and heard anything from her filming because apparently it was her agency's doing to avoid spoilers. But I do agree that because of the lack of Younjung contents, it already feels like she's actually not appearing lmao

I have some thoughts about it,, a) she has just been resurrected or idk it kinda gives off the vibes of her healing/just waking up,, like isn't the white outfit considered their innerwear under all the fancy clothing? b) I would like to assume that she'd get her fairy moment in that outfit LMAO like it has been mentioned in the series (Yunok and Dohwa) about being 'blinded' by the fairy visuals of these women and maybe she'd get her moment too lol c) it's an illusion though idk if that would still work given that the mirror relic from Jinyowon is already broken or if who would be thinking about Naksu like that,, or maybe a dream? d) it's not really Naksu lmao idk

Though it was interesting to see how their voices sounded similar, since it kinda differentiated Naksu (both GYJ and Somin) from Mudeok, especially her inner voice which makes sense since it's Naksu who's thinking them, but yeah they could've at least shown more of GYJ so it didn't look too abrupt especially to those who kept on saying there was suddenly an "actress replacement". But I think Somin being Mudeok while talking to Buyeon inside the ice stone is fine given that she's in her human(?) form talking to the 'illusions' so I just interpreted that like a human talking to a ghost lmao but they really should've had GYJ and Somin in that ~soul realm~ scene when Master Lee was fighting Uk.
