I feel like, it because they don't have intimate scenes with each other like other drama, they prob did that to show some kind of "affection" between them, i find it cute.
I used to really enjoy kdrama, after finishing one, I would start looking for one. There were a time where I had a calendar listing their airing date, for instance like Monday this and Tuesday that, and I always watched as they aired. Now I can't even bring myself to watch more than 2 episode of kdrama a day.
In my opinion, I feel most of the style of the recent drama starts out way too strong, trying hard to grab the audience's attention, but second-half always goes downhill and some of the stories become quite irrelevant or they exaggerate too much.

There has not been any confirmation for season 2. The only thing they confirmed with is the author will be writing more to the story (like a sequel) next year after completing her current work, but i don’t think they confirmed about making it into a drama.

Oh i’m actually here for her, but yeah. I guess it’s because they’re technically not sibling so thats why they do it like that. Like i said it’s pretty rare for them not to include romance in everything. I guess you should pass on this, and other SWL dramas.
