This feels like another lame supernatural/science fiction farce out of the BL assembly line in Thailand. Will…
Lol then umm idk don't watch it I guess ? Clearly u don't like this type of genre or show so perhaps it's best u look for shows which are of ur suitable taste. There is heartstopper, Call me by your name, Broke back mountain and many more western as well as asian shows that focus on realistic life of a gay person. I'm gay myself and I don't mind these fictional shows. I face enough reality in my day to day life sometimes watching a fictional show is just an escape for a while for me. So idk man getting mad over it seems pointless when u can avoid the show all together by just not watching
from the comments I read I dont think I wanna watch it anymore lol
Here's what I'll say. Don't let other's opinion cloud you're judgement. I've seen the comments too but tbh half of them are complaining about there not being any kiss scene (which I guess matters to some) Personally I don't care. When I watched the series I figured out there won't b any kiss scenes and there wasn't, so I knew the same will hold true for the movie. The beauty of the series for me personally was that despite the usual romantic gestures the actors were still able to convey the emotions and that's what I loved about the show which seems to be there in movie as well.
Secondly, what I get is that compared to the series which was light, fluffy and comedic the series follows a much more serious pace with acceptance and coming out n all which can be a let down to some which is understandable. Afterall many liked the series for their humor and well as cute moments. Again, I personally don't mind the shift of genre coz while the series was nice and all it makes sense there will be some serious things to come given they are both over 30 and not some highschool fling. In Asia it's common for families to push children for marriage after a certain age. That maybe the plot idk about that.
As I was saying, we gotta treat it like they are both adults now. The series was nice but can't deny the fact they are grown ups in their 30s and have to face the world of challenges. Also I heard there isn't much of the side couple and side characters which is kinda sad but the focus is on the main couple so I guess I'll let them get away with that.
In conclusion, I won't tell u wat to do. It's ur time afterall . But if u watched the series and liked it I'd recommend watching the movie. Even if the movie is bad I have faith in the actors. Even if the script is bad, I know the actors will give exceptional performance as always. And honestly no matter how bad or full the storyline might be I'd still love it coz I love the leads and this whole series. Nothing can make me hate this show really. So I'll recommend giving it a try when it's out( which might be forever) but I'm willing to wait. And even if u don't that's fine lol. Perhaps when I watch it next year I'll catch u up on it in comments
I don't understand why but I like him more in "Something in my room" than in "My Oxigen".Also his smile is something…
Well in oxygen the character he played was more monotonous so many people believed it's just bad acting. I read Oxygen novel so i know that's how his character was that being said the production didn't handle it any better. I think he was given gud direction in Oxygen. But in something in my room which i recently watched myself he shows his true acting potential. I was impressed wid how many emotions he can show and in such a gud way. He is definitely talented and in 'Something in my room' it was definitely potrayed. I'll look forward to more of his series now

Well while gay marriage isn't legal in Thailand the gay couples still perform marriage ceremonies. A police won't…
I'll say something u are free to read or ignore
I see many people disappointed in the fact that a Bl is maybe too cliche or doesn't relate to real struggles of a gay person . But people tend to forget that Bl originally wasn't intended to show realism or anything but fulfill the female fantasy of a gay couple. Is it right to still continue that factor? Maybe not. But there are tons of movies and drama which potray the struggles of a gay person which are eye opening and I as a gay person myself have watched them. But there are times when you don't wanna think about what's the reality. Sometimes u just wanna imagine how life wud be in an ideal fantasy and this is where these kind of series lie. They are something that will never happen in reality and I think everyone knows that but it's gud to sometimes watch something which isn't reality. A dream a fantasy is nice once in a while. I face relaity everyday. I watch dramas to destress not worry more. So again personally as a gay person I don't care. I watched it and enjoyed it. Others didn't and that's fine too .. just putting my 2 cents here
Well while gay marriage isn't legal in Thailand the gay couples still perform marriage ceremonies. A police won't…
Well arranged marriage isn't all too uncommon in asian culture I'm not sure where u are from. But me being Nepal and India it is fairly common here. Ofcourse an arranged marriage fixed for guys doesn't make sense nor is something that happens but I guess the story took different approach. At the end of the day it's fiction and I refuse to take it any more seriously. Would I say I loved the series ? Probably not. But it was still worth a watch for me. I still liked it coz the main leads gave an excellent performance
Arranged marriage between two guys? Do I understand it correctly the law allows same sex marriage in Thailand?…
Well while gay marriage isn't legal in Thailand the gay couples still perform marriage ceremonies. A police won't be called on u if it's a gay marriage but yeah by law it's still not legal. That being said I have seen some Thai gay guys get married on media before. U can marry but it just won't be recognised in the eyes of law but people will accept it as Thailand is pretty tolerable compared to most asian countries when it comes to lgbtq+
Hahahha...... I loved 2gether they were in top of my list but they got boring later on and that ending didn't…
Yess.... People don't understand how well written every character in this series is. Deun's character is soo relatable a guy who thinks before jumping into decisions always thinking about future unlike those unrealistic bl couples who just jump into decisions. And yes this series gave equal screentime and development in their story to all the couples which Why R U? failed to do. Even I can discuss this for hours lol. I'm using this MDL app but it's pretty laggy since it's still beta. But I'll add you here so we can talk about this more. i too wanna talk soo much about it.
Hahahha...... I loved 2gether they were in top of my list but they got boring later on and that ending didn't…
Yeahhh girl/guy lol. This series is incredible but it's sad seeing their rating so low and also it got overshadowed by the like of 2gether and Why R U? Both these series atarted grest but ended bad or boring. But this series (My Engineer) was solid and consistent never boring. Hope they get the recognition they deserve
Yup. And hence they are the best no1 BL of this year in my list
Yup I agree about the first few episodes but its was all worth it. Each and every episode never failed to entertain or excite me and it never got boring. Thats what I love about thus series. It's soo solid definitely deserves the no1 spot. It got overshadowed by 2gether and Why R U ?
It's important to bash/hate the storyline or the couple, if you see it from the positive pov. I love RamKing but…
U do understand the difference between bash/hate and criticize right ? Criticizing in a positive way is good for development and I understand but straight up bashing/hating on someone just coz they are playing certain character is not acceptable grow up. Most of these people in comments are teenage girls fangirling over BL couples. They don't understand the real gay people so no bashing/hating is wrong. And I see no problem with the couple you just have to understand the character
There must be a mistake. Why is everyone kissing and not high-five?
Hahahha...... I loved 2gether they were in top of my list but they got boring later on and that ending didn't help either. Now My Engineer stole that no1 spot. This is gonna be my first series which I rate 10/10 and I've been watching BL since 2013 lol.
I agree. If Bohn x Duen's kiss was a bit more passionate, that would be really out of character for them. Plus,…
Yuppp.... That kiss suited their character more. Also Deun is the one who initiated the 2nd kiss... Baby Deun finally showing some love. I like how they developed the character in this final episode . Deun finally openly showing his love for Bohn and well Bohn has matured too... Also Bohn really loves Deun which it shows and I really love that. All that being said all the couples in this series have great chemistry
I think Bohn/Duen display the most embarrassing, annoying, but very real parts of being in a relationship. There's…
Yeah... I agree with people how they can be a bit too much but thats how relationship are. There jealously bickering they were really immature when they started but in this episode they finally learned Deun matured and open up too which I like. And yeah I love all the couples. Boss is soo silly but so confident in his love which I like. For King he is really good actor. I am seeing YYY too and I love Talay's acting
Loved this final episode. Many people love RamKing here as I can see but for me I love BohnDeun a lot and also each and every couple in this series. Just a quick note you can have a favorite couple without having to bash/hate on other couples since I see this a lot in comment section. I see people fangirling over RamKing and thats ok but then they will go on about how the don't like BohnDeun or Mek. As I have been always supporting BohnDeun from the start it's kinda hurtful and disrespectful. I mean if I said something bad about RamKing people will come for my throats here but I won't them coz I love evry couple and I'm a mature person. Enough of that let me review the episode.
For BohnDeun even if they had soo much misunderstanding and unstable relationship and people complaining about the Mind guy kissing Bohn unnecessary and all that.in this ep14 they proved that it was necessary for Bohn to finally realize how much he loves Bohn and gotts show his love so that it doesn't happen again. And Bohn learned to be truthful and patient. I loved their ending. Deun finally learned to open up and show his love in public it was a nice gesture. Also I agree that their kiss might not be passionate like RamKing but it was cute and sweet and honestly this was worth the wait for me. And Deun initiates the kiss that shows how much they hav developed as a couple. Also it was funny how Deun can make Bohn sleep outside lol. Bohn is soo whipped by the baby Deun.
For RamKing it was very unexpected and surprising to see them kiss. And it was very passionate good job on acting. Also seeing King fighting with Ram was something new to his character. I cud keep going lol but well ofc we will see more of them in season 2. Who knows they might be main couple in season 2
For MekBoss honestly I thought they wud hav sad ending but I'm happy they didn't do that. Btw Fon was soo supportive. The only non-crazy, non-dramatic ex gf we saw in whole BL lol. She was understanding and hence I loved her character. Also I like how Boss is soo confident and doesn't shy away to accept his love and confess it to everyone. Not sure how they r gonna do in season 2 tho
For TharaFrong, kind off shocking on how they ended. Now I know it's a cliffhanger but didn't expect Thara to brozone Frong. That dissapointment on Frong's face ughhh... I like him a lot. But well season 2 yet to come so who knows right rooting for them lol.
All in all they ended on a good note and still kept was wanting for more and waiting for season 2. I'll be waiting for their comeback
So you telling me Yoon and Talay kissed even before Perth & Talay did lol..... Btw Talay is such a nice actor since in My Engineer he has more of that boyish smart guy character but here it's more cute, jealous type. I like both ships honestly. Am I crazy to say dat ?
Samee.... These people just want some kiss and steamy scenes without understanding the character at all.... Deun character is soo lovable and I'm very protective of him. He's too innocent for the world
I've seen the comments too but tbh half of them are complaining about there not being any kiss scene (which I guess matters to some) Personally I don't care.
