For someone who’s been greatly disappointed with some of the recent BL releases across different countries… I got fed up with them being way too focused on s*x scenes and all the fetishes— (I mean sure, who wouldn’t want that, but I’m someone who also wants zero dull and unecessary moments, not even a minute, cause that little thing could put me off anytime) —this is quite refreshing. It’s pulling me back to loving a drama that has everything in the border, and not mediocre. I’d rather watch a series with slow pace but with satisfying ‘acting’ and ‘story’ than a series with forced scenes, shortcuts, lack of context and depth but with Rated+ scenes. It’s just me though.

IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL Y’ALL 🥹 I’m afraid this would top all the Japanese BLs I’ve seen… or BLs in general (?). I mean. We’re only at Ep. 4 but the amount of BUTTERFLIES I got was ALREADY MORE than watching an entire series 🤧 I think the best term to decribe it is “BEAUTIFUL” it may sound like an understatement, but it’s literally the epitome of a beautiful drama.

Beautiful story. Beautiful portrayals. Beautiful acting. Beautiful faces. Beautiful cinematography. Beautiful script. Beautiful directing. It checks ALL THE BOXES.

If only I could pay to watch all the episodes ahead of time, I swear, I’d gladly do that.

The rewatch value of this is also so HIGH for me. I could already see myself watching it again in one go once it’s completed.

This is so far, the best Japanese BL series I’ve seen. Like basing it in entirety of the drama (Acting, Actors, Script, Music, Setting, Videography, Location, Plot, etc.)

I love it so much that I don’t get frustrated for having to wait every week and only get 1 episode released. In fact, I don’t want it to end yet. It’s not even completed but I’m already hoping for a Season 2!

Literally watched all episodes for the 3rd time today. It only gets better and better. Can’t wait for the next episode!

So down bad for this I watched it without subs 😫 then watched it with not so good subs 😫 and will watch it with proper subs again idc I’m so in love with this drama! 🤧

The 1 Episode per week is FORGIVABLE. Every episode is worth it. I could patiently wait for a good drama like this. It only has 8 Eps, and I don’t want it to end quickly.

This is SO GOOD. Every episode feels complete. Like every second counts, there wasn’t a dull moment. It’s such a JOY to watch them. This is what I’ve been wanting to see, this kind of approach in BL. Is the Ep. 3 with Eng Subs out already? Where can we watch it??

They do BL in korea. It doesn’t need censorship. People say they shouldn’t touch original BL novels if they are going to remove the BL part. Might as well adapt a different one.

They are removing the bl part of it. It’s truly upsetting. But some netizens are so mad they’re commenting negative stuff including everyone involved on the drama. 😫

I think the start was actually Zong yi leaving jail with Ai Di right? That’s why Ai Di said to not look back anymore. And instructed Zong yi to his new home. They will continue the story from there. Maybe Rui got amnesia since he had a severe head injury. And his family and boss didn’t want him to remember Zong Yi, cause remember Ai Di saying the Fan clan knew about the relationship of the two, that’s why they offered to pay for the operation of his dad in return to taking the blame. Idk it’s just me, i don’t have any reference, is this a manga/novel?

I just realized I’ll be watching the last two episodes in Taipei (I’ll be there for a month). PLS ADD ME AND LET ME KNOW IF THEY’RE GONNA HAVE A FANMEET OR ANY EVENT. I’D LOVE TO GO AND SHARE WHATEVER I’LL GET.

Putting everything else aside, and leaving just the fact that Zong yi would turn himself in and take the fall in replacement of Rui, to protect him. That’s how much he’s willing to sacrifice. His Dad is definitely an added factor. But I know deep in my heart, even if it wasn’t the case. He’d still do it for Rui. That plot, alone. Is so powerful for me. I hope they get to work on another drama with no action (this is just me, i’m not fond of action as genre). A romcom or a mellow drama, or heavy drama would be nice. Ugh, another cp added on my list! I wuv them sm already 🥲

The retrack of their love scenes and memories paved the way… and did its magic… plus the ost.. and knowing the fact that Zong Yi would still take the fall to protect Rui, even if his Dad didn’t get to that situation… asdfghjkl 😭 I was also surprised Zong Yi’s acting bumped up all of a sudden.. I honestly didn’t expect this drama to make me tear up. Watch ep. 8 at your own risks

I love how the comments section is becoming more active, I’ve seen this before, and it turned out really well. 🥹 I’m seeing my fellow SWM enthusiasts giving this a try too. Omg 🫶🏻 SMW fans are non-toxic, I’m confident that this drama will receive more support than otherwise 💖

Same question lol but ngl I wasn’t that surprised. Like he was really giving me the top vibe onset. It’s actually the reason why I was skeptical to watch it at first. Like both of them are so handsome in their own way. They have contrasting visuals. I was like, is this going to be another eye candy couple with poor attempt for BL? Apparently, it’s not at that point. Also, Zong yi is taller. For some reason, that automatically gives me a top vibe. He’s got manly physiques too, but built in a different way... while for Rui, he doesn’t need to convince me that he could be the top.. then ep. 7 just confirmed that it’s actually not the case. Lol. I think they are both vers, maybe? Idk, but i’m so invested with their chemistry. I could say that, it worked on me. Lol

Am I the only one seeing SKZ’s I.N on Zong yi? And a little bit of ATEEZ Mingi?

And for some reason I can’t explain, I’m seeing Cha Eunwoo aura on Rui’s upper portion of his face like the eyes, and his t-zone? Especially in some angles, maybe it’s just me. Don’t mind me lol
