My comfort drama of 2023 😭
After knowing that there’s uncut version of this, everything start making sense. Like I can feel which scenes they cut already and I can’t wait to see the full version 😭 (it’s so crazy how they still made it feel complete and beautiful) but I know it will be more beautiful with those additonal scenes cheyvrusjeudh THIS DRAMA KEEPS IMPRESSING ME UNTIL THE VERY END
The way I was celebrating Mao chong’s moments with SuYu but still screamed when Wubi came back and ran to Suyu like I love to see Mao Chong with Suyu, but it still hits differently with my man Wubi 💖 Aaaaaaahhhh THEY DID SO WELL FOR THIS DRAMA

The bike scene was when I lost the idgaf about it being just bromance war… like I watched this prepared and was ready to accept there’d be nothing gay about this.. Tried my best to ignore other signs.. but the bike just ended it all for me 😩

The uncut scenes make a lot of sense, just like that night Wubi didn’t want Duoduo to sleep with them. I thought it’s just gonna be like that forever. I hope, there would be no problem. I still want to see our boys work again in another season or drama 🥹

If you liked Addicted before, you’d like this too. They’re both great. It was only at first that you’ll see the adaptation/references clearly. But then it will eventually bring you smth different - not entirely different - but like the original plot is still there, they’re just adding more plot to it and did well with the execution. It’s like a 2023 take on the same old story. And I couldn’t be happier.
