I don’t understand why is this still in 7.9 rating?? I feel like it was just sabotaged. I’ve learned that some fans of other dramas would deliberately rate others with low score so it wouldn’t top their favorites. Which is so petty. Like leave this drama alone if you don’t want to watch it.
There are also people who can’t accept the fact that this is being remade by China which automatically change it into a bromance type and not entirely BL for obvious reasons.
Which is BTW they haven’t changed a thing from the original plot, instead, they’ve given us a new and better execution of their story.
It’s totally worth your time guys. Just like you, I was also skeptical at first but here I am, being a PROTECTOR of this drama and the ACTORS. For goodness’ sake, don’t rate this down for petty reasons. These actors did their best with the roles they were given. Do not take it against them.
Right away on my top drama list this year idc if this ain’t entirely BL, they are giving us otherwise though. So I’m still so satisfied. I FELT SAD SO MANY TIMES ALREADY. Cause they both portray real life situations and emotions. The conflicts are so realistic too. The torture of being their situation dhwuhseididdb i can’t wait till next week
Ngl, I was stuck with the original actors chemistry before watching this. They’ll always have a special place in my heart. So I didn’t have high hopes and was skeptical. The plot of this drama is too beautiful to ignore. Like I don’t care anymore if there’d be intimate scenes or not. I’m already prepared for that. And with the 2023 adaptation, I must say that they did well (so far). They only improved what could be improved from before, and they didn’t change anything critical from the original. They just added a 2023 flavor on it. The fact that it will have more episodes this time, is what excites me. Like there have only been four episodes now but we’re almost halfway of the original drama.
Nostalgiaaaa ✨ I love how they stick with the characters, story, setting, most of the scripts and scenes. It’s so refreshing to see it once again, but in a whole lot better version since it’s 2023 - it’s made for this generation of viewers. I got nothing negative to say about it. Nothing that would’ve been better or whatnot. I love the way it is now. And this time it will be a 24-episode long, that’s what I’m looking forward to.
I was hoping to see improvements in every aspect since it’s 2023, and it exceeded my expectations. I was already not having high hopes for it since it was changed to just bromance. But so far, they haven’t changed anything critical from the original story. It was just adjusted to how the newer generation would appreciate the scenes/visuals/scipts more.
I’m loving it so far. Love how they chose to stick with most of the scenes/scripts as the original. Even the vibes of the home town. I also love how they added new scenes and a kid in the story. I love how it’s gonna be a 24-long series. The only sad thing about it is it’s China’s work so they probably would just focus on bromance. So far, they haven’t changed anything critical from the original. I can’t wait for the next eps.
Just, omg. I’m experiencing a post drama depression right now. The rewatch value of this is so high. I’ve never rewatched a drama ever in my life. That includes non-BL and those from diff countries. This is the first time I’ve rewatched a series. I just miss the feeling that Jaewon and Jihyun gave me. They could be silent together, stare at each other and still feel the emotions. Idc how their story will be, if they make a Season 2. But they gotta make it happen!

It will give you that feeling of bringing you to a different world (their world), like when I was watching this I feel so involved. It tackles mental health, realistic situations, difficulties of admitting ones feelings, sacrifices, etc.
The music and cinematography were so good. It really helped with the mood and intensity of emotions.
I got so invested with the characters and the story. I wish it would’ve been longer, but it’s still fine. A second season would be amazing. I’m thrilled on how they’re going to top this if ever that happens.

For me personally. I had to score 10 for the rating so it could be upvoted, I do it for dramas that may not be perfect but is definitely worth watching. Cause if not, I’m afraid that there’d be a less chance for it to reach 8+ ratings and people would not be interested to give it a try. I’m like that personally, I prefer and prioritze dramas with 8+ ratings. Only if I have nothing else to watch then that’s the time I’ll give the others a try.

For this one, it’s really a short feel-good drama. It failed to dethrown any of my Top 5 (which is The Eight Sense is included) but still recommendable. Idk where it would be on my list at this point. I’ve seen so many dramas that I only picked my Top 5. Everything else doesn’t have a specific ranking anymore 😅
You have to watch it! I love the casts so much I wanna see them again in another series and I won’t get bored. I’m confused how one or two people couldn’t appreciate this drama in the comments section, like it’s literally a light hearted one, makes me curious of their standards or if they’re going through something personally like Idk where they’re coming from, but yeah, at the end of the day we all have different preferences. Though it’s weird that it’s totally different to how actually it is. But whatever lol.
My tip in general: don’t trust the negative comments/reviews, give it a try, watch it first.

Their visuals, aura, and their physique. They were giving both Alphas. But for some reason, it’s really effective. We don’t normally get to have two main leads with such built - like rn I couldn’t think of any couple who could pull it off like they did. Today, one has to be shorter and softer. There should be a contrast. Which is still good though don’t get me wrong.
I hope the two actors of the OG could make a new series again, together. Their chemistry is still incomparable.
Still the one of the best Thai BLs ever. I couldn’t find anything better since then. They got a different approach that many of thai bls failed to deliver effectively. They really have set my standards high. I don’t get why the new watchers couldn’t appreciate billkin’s way of acting, when in fact that’s one of the charms this series has.
