the acting? phenomenal. the dancing? captivating. the cinematography? stunning. the story? … felt unfinished. it needed more in some areas and less in others. I want to know more of what they meant to each other before even meeting, why sugiki had several sudden changes of heart, what it meant for both of them to simultaneously give up and take control of their dance in different ways. overall I enjoyed but it has the potential to be more than good, it had the potential to be great
was so excited for a mascfemme gl and with a tinge of supernatural/forbidden love it seemed perfect! the trailer was adorable too. however, I’m not sure how far I’ll get with this one. even the first episode is a struggle with the over the top editing and sound effects (I’m use to it with Thai dramas but this is next level amounts), plus the acting is just okay. maybe it gets better? I hope so
the finale left me with a lot of questions, but overall it wasn’t a bad series. the script just needed some more cleaning and reorganizing. actors did great and there was beautiful cinematography
they have A LOT to tie up in the last ep, I won’t lie. but I certainly don’t understand the hate. yes, it’s slow and dramatic but it’s an interesting show
I loved this series! last episode was definitely a little rushed because when I went to read the manga and compare, there was a lot more thought provoking moments and turmoil to be worked through! also wished we got to see a little bit of life after. however, I still enjoyed it a lot’
I might be in the minority of people who love this season! even more than the first one maybe. although ep 9 wasn’t my favorite, I hope they’ll turn it around for ep 10!
I’m a huge defender of this series because it was just very soft, sweet, well acted, and painfully realistic. Teenagers get stupid crushes, then they do stupid things because of it. No one in the series was evil or vindictive, they were both just young and stupid. Each of them made a poor choice at one point or another. The only thing I didn’t like was that episodes 1-6 were a chill, slow (not horribly) vibe but 7 & 8 were RUSHED! Things just got solved was too quickly and easily. Besides that, I enjoyed the series and recommend if you want a short watch!
