But nevertheless, I don't want to tell anyone what to do or influence their thoughts. Imo, if you are at episode 2 and already not liking it I would take that as a bad sign and suggest you don't continue / start speed watching. This drama contrary to popular belief might not be for everyone 🤷♀️😭
And same I am also a Twinkmelon lover! To me that drama had a lot of good storylines and it just fills you up. Also the family and friendship dynamic literally was so heartwarming and had me crying but also smiling sm. It's just a feel good drama yk? Unfortunately I have not found another drama like that since then (I doubt there will be another) but I'm trying to hold on to hope for the future.
Anyway, you're welcome I'm glad my review could provide some perspective / help 🥹❤️
I have been through something like this before and would not like to rehash the past (I also am questioning if this is the person before who has a vendetta against me and I just feel sick thinking about it)
You’re entitled to your opinion and I wish you all the best. Just leave me out of whatever twisted narrative you’re trying to spin or paint about me and / or others in this comment section who agreed with me or liked my review.
IT ISN’T AND NEVER WILL BE THAT DEEP.
🤗
I just don't understand why people can't share their opinions and why it's such a big deal to have opposing views. Anyways... I'll be on my way just wanted to point out the hypocrisy of this user because it's just getting toxic and they love starting unnecessary drama CLEARLY.
😀 I hate when my character is called into question or someone is obv trying to harass me. The person even created a fake account to leave hate on my page... like??? I'm so frustrated.
I don't see how I minimized a traumatic event by saying I hope persons who related to paralyzed version of Sol don't feel bad about their situation and wish they could go back in the past and change everything like she did because life does not work like that. I'm being realistic here and if anything, it's persons who gloss over the fact that she just went back in time and "fixed" it all who are minimizing that storyline and the character arc / growth she could have had if the writers explored it more. It would nice to see a main character who is paralyzed. Again stories like this are more common than people think and I believe representation is important.
It's obvious that dwelling on the past and wishing to change it would do more harm than good and cause the person to potentially spiral or fall into depression. I'm stating there are other joys in life especially when you have a strong emotional support system and it would have been nice to see the drama showcase that. You can live and lead a fulfilling life even if you are disabled.
Also this drama was unbelievable because her time slip / time travel did not have any consequences? She was able to go back in time and change whatever she wanted even though the end outcome would always be the same? Lol – what a waste of time.
I also heavily disagree with you when you said "I am pretty sure anyone would try to undo such an experience. It's just a human thing to do." Not everyone wants to be fixed, saved or considers themselves broken because of their circumstance.
It's like how when someone is deaf they might not want to get a cochlear implant or wishes they could be reborn in another life where they can hear etc. That does not mean they will be unhappy if they can't hear. Sign language is a beautiful language and it's a way to for persons to express themselves and connect with people in a totally different way. A lot of persons are happy to be apart of a close knit community and provide inspiration / hope / comfort to others like themselves. It seems you missed my point entirely. Also just because you worked in hospice makes your point more valid? Lol I have done the same, not that you'd know that. But that's the least.
We clearly have opposing viewpoints here and I'm failing to see how what you said has anything to do with my review. Also, I'm not going to change my mind on how I view the drama just because you disagree with me.
The drama was cliche / predictable to me and lol it's not "human nature" or however you phrased it. Sol was an emotionally volatile and reckless character who only cared about saving / protecting Sunjae. Her character was very one dimensional to me and it's sad because she had so much potential in the beginning but the writers failed to do her justice. She did not behave like a 34 year old with her childish actions / behavior so it was hard to relate to her not to mention she lacked basic communication skills and if she spoke to her family, friends and especially Sunjae a lot of the chaos that ensued could have been avoided. Additionally if she truly wanted what was best for Sunjae after she decided to erase herself from her memories, my take is that she should have tried harder to avoid him and not written that story in the first place.
Lastly my review only touches on the points at the forefront of my mind on why I disliked the drama. It doesn't reflect everything I believe / thought while watching as that would take up too much energy, time and I'd be way over the word limit. You only know as much as I wrote so take that as you will.
(the thing is they exist in almost every fandom not only LR)
I had so much more to say but I couldn’t be bothered + the word count 🥲 In general, the entire drama seemed a bit silly and lacked depth overall. I was practically over it by the mid point just like you 😭
I think people who binged it in one go enjoyed it more but even if I did that I fear I’d still be irritated, have so many unanswered questions and couldn’t overlook its obvious flaws.
Don’t pay any attention to the people in the comments. They can’t stand when people don’t share the same opinion they do towards a drama and it makes no sense going back and forth with them bc you will never see eye to eye. It’s like you’re not allowed to critique / criticize aspects that you don’t like but they’re allowed to say whatever they want? Bye.
I hate how they write paragraphs expecting you to change your opinion or something (my friend did this to me and I just told her it’s not that deep and agreed to disagree... like bffr what's the point in arguing?)
Your opinion is valid (just as much as theirs) don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! A lot of them are just so far gone they can’t accept when people don’t like the same things they do and they see it as a point to educate / lecture or attack. Like this is reality. Not everyone will like what they like / agree with them on everything and they need to wake up.
Just ignore them (the block button is also useful) ❤️
ATE AND LEFT NO CRUMBS 👏
Maybe if I turned off my brain I’d enjoy this more 💀
I’ve seen too many dramas on this website especially with good plot not do well and get the worst ratings just because they don’t have an attractive cast. It’s sad but the people are just so shallow like that especially when it comes to dramas 😭Yk how many TikTok’s I’ve seen with people saying they refuse to watch a drama because the leads are “ugly” 💀
Anyway, that’s not even the main reason I didn’t enjoy it. It’s the fact that the drama feels like fanfiction a 13 year old could write. Plot development / progression where? But I digress 🥲
