P.S. I already wrote this review the day after the show finished actually (even though I’m just posting it now) I’m very aware of all the new videos with Won Ik / Hye Seon and Gwan Hee’s video update. I don’t really care nor am I shocked that Hye Seon and Gwan Hee are not together or the that people now think Won Ik and Hye Seon have chemistry / the fact that Min Kyu and Ha Bin caught on to it while they were on the show. It’s just a cheesy / cliche dating reality tv show at the end of the day and if people watched previous seasons they’d know the contestants never end up together and are just there to promote themselves. Also the fact that people only supported Gwan Hee and Hye Seon as a couple and are now unfollowing him is seriously so telling. Like lmao everyone wants to hate him / paint him as the bad guy ONLY NOW (even though we have been saying it all along) because things didn't work out but they were so happy and rooting for them cheering when their faves ended up together? Give me a break. It was never that serious for people to be getting so attached in the first place. And, unfortunately it’s time to move on.
I believe there are a lot of things this show could do better.
First of all, instead of only staying for 9 days they should allow the contestants to stay for two or three weeks and invite more guests and travel to other locations around the world / in the country. They should make the contestants strive harder by offering different level awards for Paradise. Similar to first prize, second prize, and third prize — they would still get to go to paradise but I think certain places should be superior to others. This might make contestants try harder to win the games 🤷♀️
Secondly, it would be fantastic to see them do a mixed season with the cast from all seasons. I doubt any of them would agree to return, but just think of the chaos! Thats the only way I'd watch season 4 tbh, though i'll probably watch out of boredom bc this show has become a staple for the past 3 years.
Thirdly, since it is possible to find a match without going to paradise, the producers also need to improve the inferno's facilities.
Fourthly, they need to force the contestants to couple up at the end of each week and have the people in the inferno vote out the person they feel doesn’t deserve to be there or doesn’t have the right intentions (this would make the show so chaotic but it would be more interesting than what’s going on) This will spice things up and they can have the people who are voted off be replaced by persons who are serious about finding a partner. The way this can be done is the winner of the challenge both get to pick the replacement. So the winner from the guy challenge picks a new girl contestant out of options (they play the winners video intro at the end) and vice versa same where the winner from the girl challenge picks a guy. I feel like this strategy will make everyone try harder in fear that they may get voted off and replaced. The producers should choose contestants who have good back stories or are genuinely looking to find love no sense having a bunch of hot people who are just there for free vacation.
Finally, I also think the inferno needs to have more things for the contestants to do whether that's more chores / activities / games so the contestants can bond and get to know each other right off the bat. It feels much too strained at times and I feel like fun activities would break the ice more. In S1 and S2 I feel like the cooking and collecting water definitely helped.
My son who is 2 wants to watch this because he likes Lee Sang Yi, is it scary or can he watch it?
He probably won't understand what's going on so lol just watch it with him? I feel like there are some scary scenes for a 2 year old since it has mystery / thriller and murder. Just my opinon but this show is too heavy for children plus it does have some kissing / steamy scenes 😭

Lmao I understand where you are coming from. I actually find it kinda funny and endearing how hard you go for fictional characters you're attached to. I'm usually the same but I do be calling characters out when they seem to be written poorly or are just having a change of heart randomly and it's not making sense. Trust me, I wouldn't have made it to episode 14 if I wasn't somewhat enjoying this drama. I still am waiting to see how everything plays out before judging too harshly 🤗

To me she picked her poison / she made her bed and now she has to lie in it / accept the consequences of her actions. I need her to stand up fr and be held accountable for what transpired 💀😭

The way I see it, he literally can’t change who he is or defy the hands of fate. He’s made to hurt people and do bad things. His soul can’t be saved unfortunately — but maybe hers can be. All he can hope for is to be reborn in a next life as a good person 😂😭 Idk what she or even he expected? Like it was never gonna work out. She’s human, he’s immortal, she’s good he’s pure evil 😭 ???? Idk what's not clicking ???? (I personally didn't start this drama hoping they'd get a happy ending)
Plus, if they really wanted to convince us they stood a chance they should’ve written this story a bit differently bc it seems like they just had this crazy idea and then lost sight of the plot — especially the climax and resolution.
