I feel like PMR was a good 2023 revenge drama and MMH is perfect for 2024. Idk how to explain but for me it's a refreshing way to start the new year 🤭
But since you haven't watched either... I suggest watching PMR because it's finished and you don't have to wait weekly for episodes. Plus it's short – only 12 episodes. Fair warning you'll be confused in the first episode of PMR but by the end you'll understand what's happening. The storyline and romance also progresses quickly too. MMH on the other hand is ongoing (6 episodes out of 16) and well the romance between the leads hasn't started yet though so far they do a good job of incorporating humor. It's has a lot of funny moments 😂

I didn't read the manhwa but one thing I know is that if she stopped being so naive she would've seen her "friend" was setting her up. Jiwon is the type of person who tries to see the best in people and she was so desperate for a friend she never questioned why Soomin attached herself to her side like that. Basically Soomin wanted to have her around as a lackey so that when people looked at them they'd always think Soomin was better than her. Lol she used Jiwon as a charity case for the public and then was being a snake to her so she'd get bullied the whole time. The fact that she didn't even stand up for her friend when she was getting bullied and played the little miss innocent act just shows that she's not a good person, period. She thrived off of Jiwon's insecurities and the fact that Jiwon would always be by her side / answer at her beck and call because she was that desperate and pathetic to have someone in her corner. What gets me is that Soomin was fake to her the whole time and was happy knowing that she was ruining someone else's life. THAT'S INSANE – LITERALLY PSYCHO BEHAVIOR. 😭
Anyways I'm glad that now that Jiwon has a second chance at life she's finally seeing the signs and realizing the kind of person Soomin was all along. Someone needs to beat that bitch at her own game.
