Nam Soon and Hee Sik are the definition of FORCED. Lmaooo I can't and won't stop saying it. Like??!!! Hee Sik's "Don't go stay with me" is NOTHING in comparison to everything Shi Oh has said and shared with Nam Soon these past 2 episodes. Nam Soon knows more about Shi Oh than she does about Hee Sik at this point. They have developed their arc so well to the point that Nam Soon and Hee Sik being together just seems random / awkward asf and like the drama should not even be going in that direction anymore. Imo the only real ship here is Nam Soon and Shi Oh and the only team here is TEAM VILLAIN.
Lmao I wish screen writers would take a chance / risk and make the villain get the girl for once... bc the enemies to lovers and forbidden romance Nam Soon and Shi Oh would serve is insane!!! Forget all the bad stuff Shi Oh has done... it's not even his fault he just wants to be strong / powerful and most of all free. Pavel took his entire life away from him and he wants it back. Brooo like anyone could sympathize / empathize with him and see it from his perspective. I stand by the fact that villains are not born, they are made and well... Nam Soon could totally help him change for the better. I literally believe Shi Oh would do anything for her at this point. He trusts her so much and wants to open his heart up to her and it makes me sick that she's gonna break his heart end up destroying him further 😭💔 Shi Oh doesn't deserve that... for all his faults he just needs new direction. I mean he even said he wouldn't act upon his feelings for her and I'm sure it's so hard for him because sometimes he looks like he might kiss her. GOD– this is too much fr!!!

The way I thought Jang Hyun was actually gonna die when Ryang Eum called for Gil Chae to be there with him in his last moments nearly destroyed me! I am so glad he pushed through and fought to stay alive 😭💔
Nobody could possibly love episode 19 more than me. I loved soft / amnesia Jang Hyun he was so adorable and the way Gil Chae took care of him every step of the way him melted my heart. I WAS LITERALLY A PUDDLE. I just wanted to give Jang Hyun a big hug this episode cuz he was the cutest and silliest pookie bear ever!!! AHHH NAMKOONG MIN THE MAN THAT YOU ARE ❤️🥹
Though I am saddened by all the loss… the crown prince really tried and even in his last breath he wrote a message to Jang Hyun. I need to know the contents of this like yesterday. But damnnn King Injoo is pathetic and senile and someone needs to kill him. IMMEDIATELY. Never thought another character could make my blood boil as much as Ryang Eum and psycho princess but it seems like Injoo outdid himself. I hope he has a painful death when the time comes.
My heart actually sank when I saw that psycho skank princess had returned to Joseon to look for Jang Hyun. I was hoping his memories wouldn’t return because he genuinely wouldn’t know who she was and would be nothing but the frightened boy from his past that he thought was… even more frightened than when Gil Chae was touching him 😭😭😂
What happened to the Crown princess was awful and unfair — I can’t believe she actually drank the poison and suffered. In her last moments when the brown prince came for her I wanted to cry. Idk if this is foreshadowing anything but if something happens to Gil Chae or Jang Hyun – I expect it will be the same where they see each other in their last moments. Jang Hyun hearing the sound of the flowers in that opening scene in part 1 comes to mind 🥺😔
I hate to say it but we literally saw this coming when the king started his everyone is out to get me bullshit and a started resenting the Crown Prince and the captives who were loyal to him. What ever happened to the political struggle with Qing and the newly appointed King etc? Lowkey missing that rn, but I’m also conflicted bc I don’t want to see anymore of the princess. her character is annoying and unnecessary and whenever she’s around you just know our leads are in imminent danger.
I’m excited for what is next to come but the vibes in this episode were immaculate especially because at the end we got to see Jang Hyun and Gil Chae embrace — him apologizing for taking too long broke me 😭💔 I would love to see more of his back story but it’s obvious he and his father have some unresolved issues. I hope they get to meet again before either of them dies 😭😭
Ryang Eum seemed jealous as usual but finally he stepped back and realized what’s best / who’s best for Jang Hyun is Gil Chae and not him. When he turned both of their shoes I smiled. Initially I thought he was gonna be a petty bitch and only turn Jang Hyun’s but I’m glad he’s learning. Wish I could give him a cookie LMAOOO 🤭

Nope I'm with you. I feel like her and Shi Oh are giving forbidden love and enemies to lovers vibes. The writers should have written it that she was starting to fall for him and confused about what to do because of how much she likes him. They should have made it so that she thinks he's worthy of being saved and has capacity for redemption. UGH!
