Also there is nothing wrong with love triangles... it's a pretty common trope in most dramas so if you don't like that then why torture yourself? Yeah definitely I can see that š but Iām wondering why the father is only focused on Ki Ho / Bo Geol and not Woo Hak. Maybe they made some sort of deal where the mother takes one child (Woo Hak) and the father takes another (Ki Ho). And thatās why the father was so pissed off and abusive because he claims the mother abandoned him. But maybe also they have different fathers (or the father speculated this) and that's why the father was/is so abusive especially towards Ki Ho. He was taking out the rage he felt from the mother on his child instead. I'm thinking they split up in the past because of those reasons but Ki Ho finally manages to escape his father somehow and finds them again. To protect them the mother made sure they changed their names and took the step dads name ā that would explain why they both have memories of the past and why Bo Geol is trying to protect Woo Hak from remembering his traumatic past.
It's also evident he's so certain Woo Hak is not Ki Ho because Bo Geol is in fact Ki Ho ā the way he's always telling Woo Hak he's not Ki Ho while also watching over Mok Ha and staying close by but not too close says so much. He's obviously trying to protect her... plus when he heard her sing the expression on his face just gave it all away. I also feel like Mok Ha is pretty unforgettable herself so even if an accident did happen I just find it hard to believe she'd be so easily forgotten, even after an accident.

This episode was emotionally taxing and I am still reelingā¦ idk how iāll ever recover, like honestly every week I get on this dramas comment section and Iām like āoh things it canāt possibly get any worse than thisā AND THEN THEY DO! LMAOOOO. Oh boyā¦ I just donāt even know how to wrap my head around everything that transpired.
Yes I am happy about JH and GC. The opening scene literally caught me off guard and I ended up replaying that scene so many times. Ahhhh we are in the midst of a political battle, thereās no doubt about that. The crazy king believes everyone is out to get him and he canāt stand that people want the crown prince on the throne. To me both are bad optionsā¦ crazy king is self explanatory and crown prince is too sickly and looks like heās on the verge of death. The lesser of the two evils would be the crown prince for sure though.Ā
No I am not pleased about JH almost dying (AGAIN) because he sacrificed himself to save his friend and everyone else. Heās so selfless I canāt even emphasize how much people donāt deserve him š sometimes I wonder if the roles were reversed who would do the same for him? Lmao we all thought psycho princess would have been the main villain and cause of everyoneās downfall, but it turns out itās the royal concubines instead, and she is planning for her role as the mother of the next king. Psycho princess might reappear soon but rn she is not my main focus.
I am beyond frustrated and sad idk how JH took so many lashings / beatings and is still alive (barely) but somehow he isā¦ Iām pretty sure I heard a few bones shatter. Praying for him to be brought to safety soon and that he will recover quickly. Might I add, itās actually so refreshing to see Gil Chae saving Jang Hyunās life for once!
