Yeah but only because he's the SML... and SMLs don't get the girl, ever. In this drama it will have a happy ending. I do however want Nam Soon to feel some kind of way about him and be a little swayed / confused (Lmao i will continue to be delulu) I do feel like her mom and her take pity on people though so they could either visit him in prison and help him turn his life around or end up being friends. To me that's better than him just being killed off, if he dies I'll probably stop watching. Let's see.
I really liked this drama. I was watching it and even my mom seemed interested and she hates reading subtitles and makes fun of these types of shows. I think historical dramas in general are slower paced and that’s why most people can’t stick with them. See because I can read subs a bit faster I will watch most dramas on x1.75. To me that makes it more enjoyable and the fight scenes more intense lmao 😂😭 I enjoyed this drama and still think about it to this day. It was lovely and for me a good introduction to sageuks especially for beginners. The hate for D.O. is evident in some of these comments or people watched this for Seon Ho and expected his character to end up with the FL even tho he is the SML. Make it make sense.

Honestly I like the fact that Si O does not baby Nam Soon like everyone else around her. He knows she's super strong and can take care of herself.. meanwhile everyone else is always walking on eggshells around her and trying to "protect" her even though she's pretty much invincible 😭 As for Hee Sik and Nam soon... I find their relationship immature and childish / silly. I think it's even more unappealing to me because he does not trust her with the operation. When I'm saying something I'm talking about comments I've seen generally like other platforms too not just MDL. So if you haven't seen those comments maybe I just opened up the conversation or provided another perspective. That's usually how comment sections work. It's supposed to be a place where people can share different ideas or how they felt after and during watching. Also you can't seriously be assuming things about me lol... I like Si O even as the villain (SHOCKING, I KNOW!) because the way he acts makes it hard to not like him. His character is chaotic and unpredictable and I love that. He's different when it comes to Nam Soon and she brings out his silly / soft side. Obviously I started this drama because of Woo Seok (I don't see a problem with that) and I'm gonna keep watching because of him.
I literally have said several times before I find the drama boring but to me he makes it interesting. If I only want to watch for him ie. Woo Seok / his character Si O then that's entirely up to me and none of your business. Never once have I insinuated he should be the ML but now that you say it he definitely could have been. For me an enemies to lovers story is so much more interesting than the drug plot and the forced proximity / friends to lovers Nam Soon and Hee Sik have going on, coupled in with the overbearing mother, grandmother and silly family members.

It's funny TO ME because although they are meant to be "romantically involved", every time she says something like "hey brother," it seems like she's pushing him into the brother zone.
