Yes because it gives a bit more understanding about the whole engagement and setting of the series.quite a lot of whys is answered like why are Kuea so attached to hia Lian and wanna be the best person for him in terms of everything.
No to the maturity of the content. Some parts off the content in the story is based on unrealistic opinion especially the engineering parts (I laugh while reading this). Others I'm not so sure off cause I did skip lots of it. Oh and there's a bit of sm*t I shall say.. But not to intense.. That too kinda throw me off cause it just came out of nowhere. My take it's not worth it if you are on a budget but if you feel like you do have some money left and don't mind spending it.. Feel free to do so.
I happen to buy it and regretted few moments later. I'm fine now😅

Also the ost are great.. I forgot to mention that.. It had been long since I last this excited for an ost to be released. Nunew really is like a mine of gold.

Yup agree.. Hence why I was still able to watch it till now.. The acting is great nunew despite being a newbie really did well. Same with bad buddy I stick with their acting rather than the story itself.

Nope the tharn type and together with me.. Idk I just couldn't grasp the plot and everything at least to me.. It doesn't really make any sense. Or maybe I'm just that old, or aromantic or maybe I'm just sucker for realism sometimes.

I only watch cutie pie for zee and nunew.. Not really for the plot.. 😂😂😂 Pardon me guys but the whole arranged marriage thing are kind of outdated and not to mention it won't appeal to mature audiences so for the director to recruit handsome cute young was the best decision ever cause that is what literally carry the whole show apart from the cinematography and lil bit of comedic effect. I ended up buying the novel translation and boy.. Kinda regret it cause when I read the novel I could instantly tell that the person who write this must be preety young. It is so dang obvious when you ended up writing " chemical engineering needs to be good in chemistry" and mechanical engineering ends up being label as mechanics.
BTW I'm a chemical engineering grad. The whole be good at chemistry is a scam.. People who took up engineering know that engineering only require 2 things math and physics to strive. Others are just added value. Lol.. I can't help but laugh and force my self to read the rest. Goodness I really wanna share the whole novel but idk how.. The apps doesn't allow you to screenshot.

I did watch bad buddy but sadly I'm not on board with the plot.. Their acting was find but the whole hatred only seems good in trailer but a bummer when it become stretch in the actual plot and scripts. I think the writer need to write more legit and realistic reasons for two family to hate on each other but I'm on board with the ending, that's as realistic as it can get.

I haven't watch until we meet again... People seems to have pretty much divided opinion about the show that that I found myself in dilemma whether to give It a go or not. Since I had watch the popular tharn type and together with me I found the plot and script was messy not to mention the acting was entirely off and was wondering why are people so crazy about these series.. Am I missing something!?. As for other series that you had mentioned.. I had watched those and yes I pretty much enjoyed not me maybe because the script and plot was more realistic and off gun can really act well. Their interaction doesn't seems forced nor it leaves you clueless.

This is like the worst adaptation of F4 ever. Worst acting by the cast.. Zero chemistry between brotherhood. The only good thing was win's acting and the props.

When I wrote this.. I was sort of all over the place.. But I only had ever watch BL series from Thai since I'm only into it as a form of entertainment (I hope I didn't come out as rude to you though or anyone at that) so I my opinion is solely based on Thai BL industry. Did you read the novel already in English?. I really wanted to to know where else I can read it from since the official website that has it isn't accessible (in term of payment) in my country. Or does anyone done any paying service I could use of?

Does anyone know what BL series will replace not me next? Currently gmmtv have the earth-mix couple airing along with echante.. So is this it or will there be another series coming up next week?

Not trying to bash on BL or anything.. But the only decent BL series I had encountered most probably be Manner of death. Other than that I enjoy the cute and innocent love in Fish Upon The Sky (though most fan don't, but I love the main idea of the series which basically saying that reaching for a love so far away from where you are from, yes it does has a weak plot but the main narrative is what I like) and A tale of thousands stars (i don't love the plot but rather the cinematic and scenery was indeed splendid and wanting you to watch more).
Bottom line is has THAI BL ever have good actors, plots, scripts and character in it. My most humble opinion. No.
BL Thai solely survive because of the fandrive hence the search for good looking young actor instead of really talented one (especially those from small production, the high leap jump to fan-stardom is real, look at Bright (I'm gonna be hated but whatever) that boy can't really act well there's always smh about his weird facial expressions when expressing anger-greed-crying scene. Idk why people go crazy over him.. But probably because his handsome (not really my cup of tea though) and he himself is not a newbie actors. I thought F4 is where he would redeem himself but as seen, nope he didn't improve much. To me he is part of the people that ride the glory of BL-instant fame made by fandom kind of actors. Does people even watch Thai bl for plot?. Surely not most people are here for the eye-pleasure of cute actors instead of high quality production. So yup.. I didn't expect much I tend to skip the thing I don't want to see since to me the whole idea is pretty (absurd, boring, generic and somehow doesn't make sense?!) literally some of these boys are being potrayed as kids rather then young adult. Ouh and not to mention most BL series adapted from novel are made by female writer that is coming of age. You really can't expect much from that grp of age (sure they are exception from selected few but that's a bit rare especially when we know BL is sort of like a romantising gay-romance in a more light way (ever wonder why most BL tend to have high school-Univ setting with engineering, medics and architecture being the main characters?!) manner of death was written by a medical doctor (hence why the plot, character and script are intriguing as the story grows).

T/N : there's a lot of BL being produced now due to the high amount of interest from worldwide. But I dare say most of the BL that put actors into instant fame is the one with good-looking actors and not so much happening with the plot, script, acting and character. I'm pretty sure there are other BL series that have better actors and plot being put to sleep. There's only few selected gems I tend to see that are good at acting, Gulf, WinMetawin, Ohm, Nanon, OffGun and I have to give it to NuNew and Zee Pruk though.. Nunew is a complete baby in the industry but I can feel that he give a not so bad kind of acting and Zee Pruk obviously rocks the character apart from the scripts.

OK as a Malaysian.. I must say maybe some Chinese or Thai people who updated his education background.. Because as far as I know there is no such thing as University of Malaysia. We only have University Malaya, or University Teknologi Malaysia (those are the closest one) and 2ndly..how can you be in business faculty but studying material engineering?. You should be in either engineering faculty or applied science for that matter. His part is really mess up.

I found that the Fl acting to be worst than the character itself.. She did a bad job as of ep1 in acting. I barely holding on surviving through ep 1 due to thitipoom. I skipped all her parts.

I find her a bit annoying.. And not to mention the girl who plays the FL doesn't know how to act... She is so awkward.. And if I'm not mistaken she's a newbie idk why the director put her on as female lead she totally lacks so much. Her facial expressions most of the time mimicking the cutesy of that Korean drama which I found off putting. I skip all her parts and bare myself to watch because of new thitipoom. Hope she can improve for the upcoming eps though I doubt so. I pause midway in ep 1 when she scream because it was totally weird and stiff. I need strength to rewatch the series. The FL ruins all my expectations for this drama.
