These are currently on Amazon’s best sellers. MDZS is the 8th, TGCF is the 10th and SVSSS is the 14th. :D
There’s one called ‘Assistant Architect’ on novelupdates that I would love to see published (or adapted into a drama). I suspect priest novels could be the next big name that would get attention should it be announced. Imagine buying the word of honor novel in a store that has the actors in costume on it.
I'm confused as to why there are so many leaks already since they started filming recently, don't get me wrong,…
There's apparently a move from the Eternal Faith team to stop/discourage any leaks other than the actors coming or going to set (not in costume). So we shouldn't be seeing as many pictures going forward.
I'm a little bit relieved by this since I personally don't have the discipline to not look at the leaks.
Same, I love SVSSS and I've never read MDZS, so I might as well read it for the first time with the official release. Love that there will be a glossary and footnotes and that the original fan translators are still involved, so we don't have to get used to new names like donghua translation.
TGCF will be have it's english paper book :) so excited. Already pre order that and MDZS
Super excited about this, although it's broken into 8 parts. That said, its release schedule takes it all the way to 2023 for complete publication which will hopefully also be around the time that Eternal faith airs. Also, love that ZeldaCW is doing the TGCF art. She has a music video on youtube illustrating the series and it's beautiful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcpaPhRBF7g
I keep telling myself I'm going to stop looking at leaks and forget about this project so I can just enjoy it when the show airs...and then a new bts photo leaks and I go "Is that a new wig!?"
But the twitter also said it can be Mei Nian Qing?
I’m the book, jun Wu was described as a random cultivator in this scene, and Xie Lian only realized that he was the heavenly emperor after the fact. But yeah, he definitely needs to be flashier in his full emperor mode
I think the former costume designer used Tang Dynasty style which tends to look "simple" as the costumes reference.…
I looked at the costumes for league of noblemen and San Lang’s costume definitely looks similar to their style. So maybe it will translate better on screen. However, the belt feels a little too detailed given how plain everything else in his costume is. Is his belt considered tang dynasty style?
Also, is it confirmed that the costume designer actually left? Mydramatist hasn’t removed him last I checked.
This doesn’t necessarily have to be the god pleasing crown prince costume. I’m not sure it’s confirmed what scene they are filming, but it could be his prince clothing or his martial god robes. His god pleasing crown prince costume also had a mask. I think there is some lore stating that only the gods could look upon his face
The new Xie Lian costume looks great. What scene do you think they're filming? A lot of people online are talking about this costume as if its the one he wears during the parade, but there doesn't appear to be much of a set or any costumed-extras around.
Wait Xie Lian had a new costume (is it in the Photos section of this page)?! Or maybe because they look really…
Unfortunately, I can’t share the links to twitter because my account is too new, and they don’t seem to be shared on this site. There are a few photos of him going to work in his casual clothes and the new wig (this one is in the photos section) and one video of him in the blue truck getting a ride to set and he is wearing his new costume. A person is sitting in front of him, but you can kinda see his costume and it looks off-white as opposed to the bright white of his normal costume. The material even seems different. The neck area also seems higher, like it’s covering more of his clavicle area….I’ve been staring at this video for a long time trying to figure them out :)
I was so confused when seeing the new wig and what I assume to be a new costume because along with those being posted were photos with the same old wig and costume as previous days.
If these are officials pictures as opposed to paparazzi (as everyone has been saying) then they might be willing to show certain photos and hold back others at the discretion of the crew.
edit: I can share links apparently... Here's the picture and video I was talking about.
They’re having a budget crisis? I read the budget for this drama was quite high? Even though it doesn’t seem…
Rumor is that there is a budget crisis but I think it’s based on a random tweet and the cheap looking costumes. The same tweet also says that a bunch of creative people abandoned the project but nothing is confirmed and to be fair the tweet seemed a little sus. I haven’t seen anyone corroborate it or look into what website the tweet the was referring to. We can only wait and see what happens.
There were only a few photos of Xie Lian’s actor’s new costume and wig (with the top bun) released the other day along with him in the old wig and costume. Do you guys think that they filmed with the actual costumes the other day and are hiding it from us? I’ve been wondering if they have been blocking out the scenes filmed in the desert with the simple costumes so as not to reveal or dirty the actual costumes.
