I love Yuan, but he looked a little stupid in EP 9 walking into the turf of gangsters and getting his ass beat…
I also thought that was reckless of Yuan and I thought he had a plan when he said "this had to end." But I agree to one of the commenters here. When you think about it, Yuan came for Le. The Le that he knows, albeit a crazy guy, is a reasonable person. He was looking for Le to reason with him. He was not expecting to come face to face with Hu, who's not only jealous of Qian, but have also harbored hatred for them. The guy blamed them for his "suffering." Anyway, Yuan didn't account for that and so, things turned out that way. Qian on the other hand, knew what Le was like. He's spent most of his time with him and knows more about him which is why he knew where to find him. He asked for a "favour" and Le knew what it implied. You know the rest. So it all come down to who knows who better.
Typical of Priests stories. This is a danmei adaptation and Priest is known for slow burns because the author is more focused on world building. It is said that romance is secondary in her works but that makes it all the more worth it.
Nahhh...with our luck, they'll probably stop ep 10 at the point where Qian stops Yuan from leaving and Yuan causing…
Oh, that. I was thinking that too. 😆 But Im praying to the bl gods that they don't make us suffer so much. I mean, it's enough they're only giving us one episodes per week.
Okay but I'm sure you've seen that interview? Where they said 11 and 12 will be shown on the big screen? That they'd watch it with fans (I guess). But Xuan said he'd see a large 🍑 on the screen? I think I went crazy for that. 🤣 Which brings me, now that Le Ge is out of the way, we're now focusing on the chronic ailment part. I knew a kiss was too early for this episode but I'm crossing my fingers next week there will be. Because I know for sure 11 will have it but 10, I'm hoping there will be too. 😅 Not on the last part. In the middle, even better.
Am I the only one? I've always liked the Le character from before. He's not inherently bad. He can see through people and he's always stick to his beliefs. Although he's one crazy character but I love how he's written. He's given Qian a chance at life, he gave him a job when he was young. He gave Yuan a name, he made sure that kid had a name because according to him, if he doesn't have a name, he can't go to school. Now, I'm not saying he's a good person. As I've said, he's a little too crazy. That scene with the gun was thrilling. When he said party time and when no one wants to play, so he said he'd play. I loved that bit. When one character is not scared to die just to prove a point. Haha. Although, the receiving end is our boys. 😅 He saw how those two have always been willing to risk their lives for each other. He never wanted to do anything to Qian and Yuan in both occasions. It was always the Hu guy.
I loved that he said he'd not want to see them both again. Cool guy. That one.
I'm here again to talk about that glass of water scene. Qian is so used to being the number one in Yuan's eyes that his subconscious just accepts it as normal. Now, when Yuan handed that honeyed water, he expected it to be for him only to be offered to Xiong first, San Pang next, and him last of the three before Yuan poured himself one. Yuan even put it in front of him. 😆 The two were basically complaining about their hang overs and Yuan offered the honeyed water. That scene tickled me. Was it innocent? Was it deliberate? We'll never know. Qian kept looking at Yuan while they were eating. He was trying to figure Yuan out and my guy is just there, eating and smiling, and even making little thank you "speeches" to the two except him. I was having a field day.
But dang Qian, he knows Yuan is doing it on purpose. He's smart, alright. I love these two so much. They will kill me. Taiwanese dramas will kill me. History:CTY, K:DTM, WBL, and Unknown are my Roman Empire.
I had waited for at least half of the series' episodes to be released before I started watching this because then "The wait won't be that long." Wrong. Famous last words. It's just getting better and better and the wait is killing me. One episode per week is a crime! And so is a thirty-minute-episode!
Can we talk about how Yuan can even talk about their confrontation out in the open now and even make a joke about it? Like, it hurt him but he knows it's in the past now and that he's also in control now? Gawd, how can I wait for next Saturday?
The way Yuan was sitting as though he was watching a very intense scene of an asian family drama.
And top it with his smirk/smile/laugh while eating cherry tomatoes. I can not with this man. He was so seductive this episode. Qian can't even say a thing.
I came here to check for the synopsis of their new series, This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans, and found out it isn't listed yet. I wanted to check it out as there isn't any English sub yet.

I knew he looked familiar! I was thinking I saw him in Extraordinary WYW but turns out, he was Dong Baek! He's so cool as Honda. I knew I liked him the moment I saw him.
PS I love how Le is written. Crazy and cool.
