Really? I see them all the time. There are celebrities dating IRL with age gape higher than 7 years and no one says nothing but as soon it hits a fiction story...
i watched the first episode but song ah's personality is a bit distracting... can anyone tell me if she grows…
yeah, she gets over that guy pretty fast. She isn't afraid of telling what she's feeling, even if she's not on the same "level" as the other person, especially the ML.

Yeah, one of my fav dramas has like a really low rating on this site because the male character is 7 years than the female character, even though they were both mature adults.
Didn't even watch the last two eps of that one. Either binging or watching on your own pace, you probably enjoy this one a lot, especially because of the bond between the leads.
It looks like the conflict will actually be about their careers and goals for the future. I hope they stick together in the end. I prefer this kind of problem over cheesy love triangle ANYTIME.
Completely agree. It's not a bad drama, but 8.8 is very overrated....
Yeah, I'm talking about DYLB. Loving that one so far. I never skip scenes, not even from supporting characters because I believe a show must be good in its entirety. It's also the writer's job to create interesting supporting characters because, you know, they are there to support the main leads' story. This one fails at it, so it's a no-go for me. I also don't fall for the "binge and it gets good" kind of excuse.
I binged a lot of dramas in the past and you kinda forgive lame writing and plot holes because there's a new episode waiting for you after THAT cliffhanger. Like I said before, I don't mind tropes, but I watched so many dramas in a window of 2 years, that as soon as I detect a badly written plot being praised mainly because of the job of the famous main leads, I tend to stay away or wait for cohesive reviews about the drama. As you said, people like what they like. What is bad for me can be good for someone else, and that's ok. I just don't want to waste my time with something I may not enjoy. It's entertainment nonetheless.
I'm not gonna lie when I first started watching, I would binge a lot of famous actors' and actress' dramas just because of them, but later on I realized the importance of a good writer. Now I feel like I can predict the quality of a drama just by seeing who the writer and director are. And most often than not, you're gonna see great actors working with those writers. It's hard to imagine Bae Doo Na picking a bad script, for example. When a stellar actress/actor isn't on a drama I look first for the writers.
Lastly, it's important to consider the age of most users here. I'm 24, I'm pretty sure I'm not youngest around here, so I'll probably not enjoy what most things 18 yrs are liking, that's why I wish the rating system was better. Things like "rating based on your age" or "if you liked this the chance of you liking this is %" kind of thing.
