I'm actually glad that they went this route. I like season 1 for what it was, but since the old cast was not returning, it made sense to change the history a little bit too. The only downside on this season was the love triangle that didn't do much for me.

Me too. It still has its comedy moments but I like how it isn't all over the place. It's a solid season and I just hope for a good ending. The romance is not all over the place too, it's enjoyable. If this wasn't a "Welcome To Waikiki" sequel it would have been loved by a lot more people.
