Backing out now would trigger serious legal and financial consequences. Violation of contract terms can lead to severe penalties, not just for HMH, but for the entire team supporting him and it can lead to him getting silently blacklisted by the industry.
3. He's worn out to the point he needs to get taken to the hospital after Glory wrap up that same day because the production team won't let him take a day off for his sickness. So what makes you think they will let him back off after he signed this drama (Que Gu) when this drama can proceed to production after he signed the contract.
Last but not the least, this is extremely unfair to him okay?! We are also done a great disservice 🤦. The capitals want to use him to promote a talent and for this project to proceed they need him but instead he is the one getting blamed for all this bs.

The silver lining is that this drama showed his range and despite extreme favoritism efforts of GJM, he just can't be overshadowed. The thing is that the disrespect is just too loud that it's difficult to make peace.
Hoping he finally gets proper screen time and the spotlight he deserves as the male lead. So far, Fangs of Fortune remains the most blatant display of disrespect that shamelessly sidelined him despite being first billing. Really hoping we won’t see that kind of disaster again here.

Considering 🥝s attitude about this drama, they couldn't care less atm except for his character LCY. This year, Youku launched a character popularity poll that boost heat index/popularity and this is most likely their own focus and not the data for the drama as a whole. Worried af too because for sure his name gotta took that hit but since 👖 wanna get quick buck by using him, his 🥝s are retaliating 🫠. Torn af.

Indeed, the ones included in this list are the dramas from either the top actors, top directors, big IPs, and major studios/production companies etc. That's why I don't shut up on how impressive is this achievement for LITC especially when this is helmed by a short drama director and LITC is her debut to long drama, also the production company's first time producing this genre. Discarded by Youku for their golden child but ended up being overshadowed by LITC. Youku for sure scratching their heads with their crappy decision making. Tbh, it's not surprising since LITC is Youku's adopted child. This drama don't even have any broadcasting platform in the beginning, only when they are able to secure HMH (the producer waited for half a year for him btw), its only then Youku decided to buy the broadcasting rights. They must be impressed by the solid results as LITC is a licensed drama and this list is dominated by their self produced ones. This drama literally have only HMH as their main traffic driver. I will not completely exclude other fans and artists starring here, for sure they contributed too. The support and sleepless nights driving the data mygosh. Since Youku did not give a helping hand, the fans and audience had to do it themselves. 🥝 hope this will perform very well and I kid you not, happy with the solid results. The fans of the first billing are always the most pressured. High return in investment 👏. He just don't engage in marketing hype and is particularly lowkey but if this is the achievement from other agency by their own artist, this will be blown out of proportion with many hot searches.

Try not to associate LITC to these annoying delulu cp. Don't let this drama get this negative association. I'm proud af that this drama can reach this heights despite being sacrificed by Youku. This platform literally made this drama fend for itself and they did not expect it to survive and surpass their favored ones lmaooo. Ngl, I'm still pissed off to this day.
