Q: Will the ending of the #Immortalis drama version be the same as the ending of the novel? For this, let’s invite Xiao Hou to give us a little spoiler.
#HouMinghao: Definitely not the same. The original novel does have some tragic undertones, but in our drama, around the middle to later stages, we’ll step into this part of the story in a deeper way…basically, every character will fall into a kind of tragic fate that belongs to them.
Xzx: At crossroads.
Hmh: Yes, at crossroads. But in the end, our final ending is still one that I think moves toward the light. No matter how each individual’s ending turns out, everyone comes together for a shared ideal. So please look forward to our ending.
Preferences are normal. WXY is not my cup of tea but I will not go in his drama/personal comment section to say that he should not be casted but instead it should be my fave HMH.
The issue was that the discussion shifted from answering the casting question properly as WXY is also in a legal age to bringing up mdl rating in hopes to undermine someone's take, which weakens the argument. And assuming that WXY is suitable just because he is younger doesn’t really address the age gap concern objectively nor will make this supposedly better.
HMH is in the right age for this casting. Literally sick and tired to those blaming him when he is casted rightfully with his general role. He also signed first but this fcking blame is put on his shoulders.
Idk but the fact that you took the time to view her profile to find some "juicy" deets you can use for rebuttal is such a "let me find dirt instead of logic energy". Especially if the argument is valid about your age gap standard and you don't care if AM is underage in a romance drama as long as it's with your WXY.
Instead of answering her question properly, you proceeded to looking for reasons to undermine her take by mentioning she is a fan. You are not bothered by the casting of AM in a romance drama as long as it's by your age gap standard. And your preference does not make this casting magically get better as the one you like, assuming you are referring to WXY is in the legal age bracket with mature looks compared to HMH. Nasty comments will surely appear and as what I've said, casting him will not make the situation and underage concern better. To WXY fans out there, this is by no means a shade to WXY by mentioning he is mature looking, in fact him mature looking can be used to his advantage as well as other actors who can use their youth looks, vice versa. Just putting this out here in case I get misunderstood.
Btw, I am also his fan in case you go and try to research about me to undermine me too.
Kiwis, KTTPH received their distribution license today for 28 episodes.
Seems like there's no episode cut from the censors as the script is originally 28 episodes. I submitted that 28 eps in mdl when he got confirmed to act as the 36 eps initially filed is a placeholder but we shall see if this undergoes another process.
Hou Minghao's performance in the family-themed historical drama "Yu Ming Cha Gu" is particularly outstanding. His portrayal of Lu Jianglai is characterized by his excellent "eye acting," conveying multiple identities and psychological states through subtle changes in his gaze: when deliberately feigning weakness, his moist and innocent eyes cleverly conceal his sharpness, revealing the character's meticulous and shrewd nature; while in official robes and at the center of power, his gaze suddenly becomes cold and sharp, vividly showcasing the arrogance, control, and oppressive aura of the chief minister. Hou Minghao's precise control over the intensity and rhythm of his gaze makes the character's emotional shifts natural and believable, allowing Lu Jianglai to remain highly recognizable amidst the complex relationships between characters. It is this mature control over details that enabled him to successfully portray this multifaceted character, winning him the January historical drama role champion title.
