Immortalis incorporates elements of suspense, wuxia, and traditional Chinese horror. Following the completion of filming for Immortalis, preparations for the concert will begin.
âXiao Wuyi is a rather heroically tragic character. Deep down, he possesses an innate toughness, a kind of resilience etched into his bones. Heâs the type who would clench his teeth and swallow everything down, bearing it alone without sharing it with others. He quietly shoulders an enormous amount on his own.
At the same time, he is an extremely fractured person. In truth, from the very moment his story begins, his fate has already entered a countdown. He has always been carrying an immense ambition, along with the injustice that destiny has imposed on him. He is also racing against time, doing everything he can to realize his ideals and aspirations, while desperately trying to protect the people around him from harm.
He is someone who places himself in the most inconspicuous corner of the world. Yet at the same time, he is still a young manâa child. Though he retains a pure, childlike heart, I think he has been tempered into someone who appears extraordinarily matureââ
(The host cuts him off in fear he is spoiling a bit too much.)

HMH said that Key to the Phoenix Heart should probably be broadcast around this summer vacation.
He will also sing two OSTs, one is a character song, and the other is the main theme song (either the opening or ending theme).

Facepalming at this account spreading such ridiculous claims. All these long essays built on nothing but reach and speculation. You can praise your fave Nazha all you want without dragging other actors and actresses down to make a point. Iâm here to remind everyone to not fall for misleading takes dressed up as âanalysis.â Enjoy what you like, support who you support, but letâs not normalize tearing others down based on made-up logic.
The data doesn't lie. TUS no. 3 with the worst airing date and length in drama history yet still made it no. 3.…
It's a given since Glory is in the đ„ platform where even 16 million ave for the hot broadcast period is enough to enter the platform's Top 10 most viewed in their entire history.
Not to start anything but TUS is streamed on two platforms, iQIYI and Youku and releases 3 episodes a day so it's obvious the views will be higher. Glory updates, one to two episode, they even go days without updating any đ. Can't understand why the need to mention HMH's Glory to elevate TUS.
Glory is a force on its own, with a short drama director taking the lead, it's her debut to long dramas, the drama is also full of short drama actors, YZ wanted the word of mouth fermentation and did not bother to promote the marketing, no CGI, the platform is satisfied and the primetime ratings are amazing too. I mentioned those above because the costs here are way more cheaper and it's obvious they got the return from their investment. And brands still adding ads even though it has long time finished airing.
I refuse for HMH and Glory to be used as a brainwashing tool for coping.
Yunhe Update - 1/28/26
Glory - 15.10 million (đ„) and take note of the low DAUs The Unclouded Soul - 16.60 million (đ„đ)
The hot broadcast period of Glory is estimated to end at 2/10 while The Unclouded Soul 2/16, why did I mention this? It's to give a heads up that iQIYI together with Tencent likes to grind and lengthen their hot broadcast period so the data will look good with their maximum platform efforts. I put it out here in case you go and brag about this then use HMH and Glory as an example later again to elevate TUS.
Glory performed way better than The Unclouded Soul even in advertisements but you don't see us yapping about it just to uplift Glory and HMH in his comment section. I suggest you do the same.
âWhether itâs short-form or long-form drama, there are no shortcuts to earning audience recognition. Sincerity is the greatest bargaining chip. Short dramas are becoming increasingly competitive, and long dramas are no exception. I believe that everyone working in either field is undergoing a difficult period of reflection and transformation, which I wonât belabor here.
In the current environment, breaking through with long-form drama is already like rowing against the current. With such high costs of trial and error, every step feels like walking on thin ice, and limitations are inevitable. As a reformative work that âshort-dramatizesâ a long drama, âGloryâ offers more than fast-food-style clips or dazzling, high-energy scenes designed to attract viewers. Its true highlight, and my favorite aspect, lies in its core themes and ensemble portrayal.
Whether it is Lu Jianglai, who navigates a dark officialdom while holding onto inner light, or Rong Shanbao, who bears the burden of a decaying family yet remains morally upright, all of them stay true to their principles in the âWei clanâ case. The suitors competing in the husband-selection process, each with their own motives; the young ladies of the Rong household fighting for power and affection; and the bizarre, tangled feuds within the Lu residence in the capitalâall ultimately possess their own character arcs and defining moments.
This has been my greatest takeaway from my first attempt at a standard long-form drama: it can carry richer expression and more diverse narrative forms, and it possesses a unique charm of its own.
If âGloryâ is fortunate enough to bring you some enjoyment, that is the greatest happiness for all of us involved in its creation.â
A very long #Glory bts provided by director Zhang Zhiwei~
(Youâll see how she and director Ma Shige sometimes have overlapping scenes to film and have to coordinate actorsâ schedules so that the other group can use/shoot them on time etc.)
The reuters alone can tell how much time and effort was spent in this drama â„ïž. I hope so too đ€.
