Have a Crush on You: A Beautiful Cast Wasted on a Terrible Story

When a stupid writer writes something with extreme stupidity, the output is always like "Have a Crush on You" drama.

To be frank, I feel this is one of the worst stories of all time. The writer portrayed the male character as one of the most frustrating and disappointing leads I’ve ever seen. By the 10th episode, I already felt like I was wasting my time on something utterly stupid. The male character is unbearable, I don’t even understand why anyone would write such a role. I genuinely felt bad for the female character, who wasted her entire youth on a man who didn’t even deserve her.

And as if that wasn’t enough, the writer made things worse by adding the clichéd amnesia plotline, which only piled more suffering onto the female character. Now she has to carry the pain of a love she never received for the rest of her life. Honestly, I don’t understand why producers waste money on such ridiculous stories.

That said, I became a fan of actress Wang Chu Ran through this drama. Her acting skills are truly commendable; she absolutely nailed her role and impressed me a lot. The supporting cast also did a really good job. So overall, this drama isn’t worth watching unless you’re watching purely for the visuals of the lead actors. Otherwise, I don’t recommend it. But I’ll definitely be checking out Wang Chu Ran’s other dramas, because she really left a strong impression on me.
