i have to say that reading these comments, you guys are clearly watching a different drama from me. just because…
damn, it's just a drama... we're all entitled to our opinions, no need to get so worked up. The drama is getting great ratings in SK, just ignore the international viewers.
iam sad bcs this year, i dont have yang zi new drama T.Trumor said, this drama will air in 2021 :/2020 officially…
Yeah same, such a pity. 2021 will be a big big big year for her though, this drama + the one with Kris Wu + the new one she's about to shoot about the psychiatrist.
It's a bit cheesy and cringy but I like it a lot. I can overlook the fact that they keep putting pharmatists over a pedestal since I just watch it every week for a good cry. Have been following it for weeks and always looking forward to it. It has become my comfort place of the week
The writers killed off Haesu in such a cheap way. Damn I hate it. They killed her to add angst and tension so they can keep ML alive in the last ep. Leaving Eunha with Haesu was the worst decision a mother could have made: she was just getting stalked and is super involved with the case, there is no away Eunha could have been safe with her. It didn't make sense at all. The writer is slacking so much. This started off as the greatest drama of this year, now I don't even want to watch the last ep.
My brutally honest thought about Ep 5 is that Ahn Jeong Ha has absolutely no dimensions in her character. It is…
I'm here for PSD too and I'm baffled that they convinced her to take this role. I can overlook the fact that her character is just an accessory to ML cause that happens often in kdramas. But damn her lines are so cringeworthy, remind me of the fanfictions I read as a kid. I wonder if she ever cinged while delivering those lines cause I sure did while I watched her. I'm sure she knows what good writing is since she was in Parasite. Damn, girl, you're better than this.
ah yes, the Predatory Gay trope...... sigh. I mean pervy old dude is somewhat expected of the industry so it makes…
Ahhhhh same. it made me so uncomfortable, mainly because he's such a predator but also because I hate to see this kind of representation. We get very little representation as it is...
I didn't like the scenes at the ML's house, like what you said felt like an old school korean family drama.
Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against old school korean family dramas, they can be fun but this one feels off, the editing, the script... it's all a bit awkward.
Park bogum and Park so dam are sooo good. Whenever they are together, they light up the room. For a slice of life drama, this one is quite "stiff", feels like the character are narrating the plot in a very mechanical way. Eveyone keeps talking to themselves like in a old school drama. But the leads are so good I can kinda overlook that when they are on screen.
Was very excited to watch this till I saw the credits. Don't understand how such big names like pbg or psd could…
I saw that this writer's work has pretty decent ratings. What do you mean you can't trust her? I'm curious cause I didn't enjoy the first ep and I was puzzled cause Park sodam is such a big shot these days, I'm sure she can get better dramas.
Wow this hits so close to home. I love the message. I'm gonna rewatch it when my anxiety about the future gets too overwhelming. It's all about living in the present and feeling it, isn't it? Loved the ep. I strive to live like Joan.
Definitely wish they went all in with the wlw storytelling but it was such a nice episode nonetheless. Why couldn't they reunite though? Arghhhh I'm frustrated
I don't think it's just the haters, he got called out by a major newspaper or a channel or something. It's like…
The way I see it, the gov is very indifferent towards celebs, they couldn't care less. But when those celebs mess up, the gov will step in. Lately they have been extra strict with it, they've been intervening in all sorts of celeb matters, like the singer who cheated to get into college and mukbangers who waste food etc. Being supportive of XZ right now doesn't seem like a good move for them, just like most celebs, he's disposable to them. Not to mention that I keep seeing trends on weibo about his fans doing embarassing stuff like the elementary teacher that made her students film a support video for him. Netizens are still hella mad and the whole situation is embarassing for anyone in the higher ups. They take school very seriously. I don't know about those conspiracies regarding Yuehua and other agencies, I just know that in the best case scenario the gov is indifferent to XZ, worst case scenario they don't want him to embarass them anymore, I definitely don't think they are supportive of him. It's rare for a gov affiliated newspaper to get involved in celeb matters and call them out, the gov is trying to make an example out of him
