It's a good watch! The CGI was fine - in my opinion it was fairly seamless. It doesn't take you out of the moment, and honestly I feel like I've seen worse. I do agree that you need to pay a fair bit of attention to the storyline - there are scenes that change super quickly but you get the hang of the transitions after a while. Freen and Becky do a fantastic job and it can get emotional! (I definitely teared up at certain parts haha). I was lucky to see this in cinema but I hope you enjoy watching it when it's available for stream!

God I love a drama where there's so many messy and flawed characters 😏 also for once I don't have secondary couple syndrome 🤣 I love a good spoilt rich boy paying his way through life and and the whole enemies-to-lovers trope he's got going on with JJ, but I'm so much more looking forward to seeing how the OabPlawan storyline plays out. I suspect that daddy Oab (I love that this is just who he is now for so many of us 🤣) already knows about who Wan is working for. I don't know which I'd want to see more - Oab already knowing or Oab finding out. Either way, I can't wait for the drama!! 🙃

This is a bit hard to answer but I'll try to do it without spoiling. There are kisses and affectionate moments and the movie is about the romance between Freen and Becky's characters - it's just not a conventional because of the parallel worlds aspect.

As what Nadie said, Shao Yu did not know that Huai'en was his brother. When he made the realisation in the episode, he immediately wanted to kill Huai'en so that others wouldn't find out. That's also why he apologises to his father on behalf of his mother as well.

The latest episode was good ole fashion ANGST and I loved every minute of it 😩🖤 this is becoming one of my favourite dramas. So excited to see the next ep in a few hours!

I totally understand this! Oab is oozing with dominant energy and Plawan easily melts under his touch. Their chemistry is off the charts!

LOL we are in the same boat with C-dramas then (though I've only seen/not finished one 🤣). Yes, it's all up to the person watching! But I had to write how surprised I was about this being low budget - it looks great to me! 🤣

The novel actually shows their relationship pretty accurately (Xiaobao making the first move, Huaien insulting him but then slowly starting to lower his walls, etc) BUT the novel is wayyyyyyy darker. Huaien's possessiveness can get really bad, and there is still the non-con scenes that happen between them. Character-wise, it's spot on.

No, Su Yin doesn't end up with anyone at the end. The relationship you see in the show between him and Shao Yu is pretty much the same in the book, but it doesn't go anywhere

Yes, in the novel there is a side couple (Jin Bao and Que Siming). It's not explored in depth, but it is confirmed ☺️

I don't watch many C-dramas so don't have much point of comparison but tbh if I didn't read that this was low budget, I honestly wouldn't have known. Also I was literally just admiring something about the make-up in today's episode so again - hearing that people think the make-up isn't great is news to me LOL 🤣I think it's definitely worth a try! The actors are really good and the story is very interesting (dark for sure though, if you don't mind consuming that content). I hope you do enjoy it if you watch it! 🥹

Loved the show from beginning to end. Great and Inn's chemistry was off the charts, and the side couple of Thor and Fluke was the cherry on top. Me too! I can't hate the guy at all. Of course he's flawed, but that doesn't make me hate him! His life's just a bit of a disaster at the moment, he'll bounce back soon! 🤣 Omg, Pon is the best choice for this character. He cracks me up! His facial expressions are EVERYTHING! He and Sailub were so well chosen (and Benz and Garfield too! Everyone is killing it! I'm so proud of them and am so happy to watch them!! 🖤)
