For me, the Taemrak AJ storyline was another public awareness service, there were scary signals for her, he parked…
I agree with you! It's honestly sickening how many messages I've read that said "he didn't even do anything that bad and she panicked for no reason" about Taemrak and Ohm's car interaction. It's such victim-blaming mentality. I also think people forget that assaults happen more often from people you know rather than strangers (I'm sure there is a statistic for this, I'll have to find it online though), so it makes total sense for Taemrak to have been worried when all of a sudden, Ohm started to touch her in a way that wasn't typical for their relationship. Sorry for the rant, I didn't realise how much this was bothering me π€£ but you're so right, there are a lot of really great public awareness scenes in this show and I hope that maybe in time people will recognise how good they are rather than criticise it π₯Ή
I'm looking forward to seeing how Sun and Salin's relationship will progress throughout this series, but I also CANNOT get enough of Juldis simping over Chan π€£ I really want to see more of them as well!! π€£π
I totally agree .this show was interesting to me at first .but the writing in the recent episodes have gone down…
Hi! Just answering your question on "Is there any source material that this is taken from?" - Yep! There is a novel! Though I do have to say there are a LOT of changes that were made to the series. I don't speak for everyone but I think both have their merits - but I can definitely see why they added certain aspects in the show that were not in the novel. That being said, I can also see why some people think that the plot is dragging (even though I'm just enjoying it regardless and think the pacing is perfect, but I'm usually on this side for many different series π€£). But yeah, I won't spoil anything novel-wise but there's definitely changes. I would go so far as to say that there is more of a plot in the series than the actual novel and that the side-plots they've added in are necessary to make it alive on the screen, if that makes sense. Hope this helps answer your question! π
Don't know if this was posted already but does anyone know the song that plays at the end of ep 8? You know, right before the sneeze? I, like, NEED to listen to it on repeat if it is an actual song, it's so beautiful π
Man you know an episode is good when there are so many conflicting reviews about who to blame and what happened π€£ I once again find myself with the minority opinion (NOT blaming Dee because by now it's clear the boy is just a disaster and it can't be helped) and am just enjoying all the drama in the show as the BL gods intended, amenπ Popcorn for all! πΏ
Putting in a spoiler just in case people don't want to see the answerNo, the series does not follow the novel…
Hi! I'll put in a spoiler again in case people don't want see. Spoilers for novel vs series so far (READ AT OWN RISK) Basically, there is no fake dating plot in the book. Yak and Dee start off with a one night stand after Dee is heartbroken by Ter, but it's Dee who tries to chase Yak for more. They also kiss from the beginning (the "first kiss being special to Wandee" plot doesn't happen). They become a couple very early in the novel and there's little involvement with Ter. Taemrak is also not a huge part of the plot - but in the novel Taemrak is a boy and Yak does get heartbroken when Taemrak rejects him. There is a break up in the novel because of a misunderstanding, but Wandee and Yoyak get together again. Personally, I like the changes that the show made - but the novel/source material was good too π
I don't understand did the boxing match happen in Thailand or Japan
It was in Thailand. Otherwise, it would have been mentioned that they went to Japan, especially since Dee would have been there for his presentation βΊοΈ
Agreed!! I was blown away, they're both such amazing actors! Didn't even mind that it totally punched me in the…
I'm glad that there's another person here who likes this as much as I do! π€£π€£ we can support each other through this drama-fest together!! ππ€£π
