I'm with you on the Taem change and being part of the minority. I was a bit surprised in when I read the novel and saw Taem was a boy, but I don't mind either representation and would have been happy either way. I think it gives a new facet of Yak's character to explore in the series and I look forward to seeing where it goes 😊

I thought that Phum slept for 100 years, not 300. In ep 1 after he wakes up and talks to Julie, he says he was asleep for 100 years - unless there's a mistranslation or I've read it/understood it incorrectly.

If that's the case, I'd assume there was a time gap between Phum coming into the vampire world and him going into slumber mode. 200 years maybe of living as a vampire then still not over the heartbreak so going to sleep for 100??
