I sincerely hope that he will be allowed to put this behind him and move forward with the same "love and support of many people." It hurts my heart that a person feels the need to publicly apologize in this manner. It was a beautifully written apology, but I feel that he should have been able to convey it privately to the limited number of individuals who may have any claim on it. I also hope that people can read this apology and learn from it. Everyone has shortcomings, oversights, mistakes, and bad choices. Just as this apology demonstrates-the way to handle them is to acknowledge, take responsibility, attempt to correct, and determine a course to prevent them in the future. I admire his character and hope he will be given the privacy and grace that every person has a right to.

The few times that I have read articles or comments relating to this situation, I have found very extreme opinions regarding who is at fault. Before everything else, the most important thing to acknowledge is that we, the public, do not know the full story and have no right to judge or condemn someone. I think that unless condolences are being shared with either party, the public should stay out of it.
What a difficult experience for everyone involved! I am sad for the family and friends that lost their loved one. And I am sad for this-and all-actors who, because of their career choice, are held hostage by the vagaries of their fans and the public. Imagine if people of all career fields were held under such close scrutiny; if their long-term participation and success in their chosen field were subject to the whims of strangers. I think the fear and concerns of the actor are valid and significant. I think that these circumstances also serve to strengthen the fears and concerns of the rest of this community who feel pressured to meet the expectations and demands of the public.
I hope that all of those involved will be supported, given grace, and allowed to heal.
I HATE THIS SHOW!!!! Just had my heart ripped out and thrown agaisnt the wall during the last half of ep.12. Now 10-ish minutes in to ep.13 and there is absolutely nothing they can do to justify the trauma of the past half hour. 🤬
