"Not grooming if you are not romantically involved from the start" - What kind of argument even is that? Grooming isn't about when the romance starts, but when one even has a romantic relationship at all, with a minor or very young person, which is exactly the case in this drama. As @Mockingbird111 says, your examples of other age gaps, does not equal to this one, since the FL really is just a child, with no money whatsoever. It's horrifying to me how people manage to overlook the obvious promotion of grooming and even pedophilia to some extent in the drama.

Truly! I fully agree. I would go as far as saying it's promoting pedophilia - with the child-like female lead, making the relationship Lolita-like.. Very uncomfortable to me. So not my cup of tea.

It's not the acting or the actor that I dislike, but the character she is acting itself. As you say the character is very childish, though nothing is wrong with her acting in itself. But I would mind the child-like character less, if she wasn't put in a romantic relationship with a very much older man. :))

I guess you have a point. But the fact about her age is that I would be more accepting, if she did not act like she's in elementary school. I would love to appreciate this drama, because I've heard that it's great. But with the the female lead I simply can't.. It's sad because I love the casting as well.

I don't understand the people that loves this drama. The main couple is in my eyes horrible, and is promoting PEDOPHILIA. How does no one notice? The female lead is acting like a child, making their relationship lolita-like. It's scary that is it overlooked.
