The urge to reach my hand through the screen and brush Jin's hair out of his eyes (and pluck the colour contacts out while we're at it) gets stronger with every episode.
Alright, I'm not gonna lie you guys, the production value of this is pretty high, it's engaging and it's very binge-watchable.... but it's maybe The Most Webtoon-y plot I've ever seen adapted to drama. The most KBL to ever KBL, and I kind of feel bad this didn't come out a decade ago because, we're really just still here huh. I'm really curious what kind of fantasy these storylines aims to fulfill.
I really hope that now as the GL industry finally finds its footing we coudl see her in an full-length GL 😫🙏 I have not stopped thinking about her these past 8 years, may this high femme princess bless my screen once more...
I don't know of any, the GL genre is only just losing its training wheels so there isn't much variety yet. From…
Now that I think of it The Secret of Us is a Thai GL that also largely follows women that are working full-time. I also recommend the second season of The Age Of Youth (Korea drama) as a general woman-centric series (with a little queerbait for garnish).
View and Min really steal the show, I love Oat's character so much, they add a more grown-up vibe to this series' soft aesthetic. I do feel like Min being directed to look off into the void during the longer dialogues is a bit unfortunate. I get that they were probably trying to show how much armour someone as broken-hearted Nene requires, but I feel it dims Min's light when her eyes could convey so much more feelings.
Hi, does anyone know if there are any Thai GL series where both main characters are in their 30s? :)
I don't know of any, the GL genre is only just losing its training wheels so there isn't much variety yet. From what I remember there's a 2015 pinoy GL called The Rich Man's Daughter with something of an 'Imagine Me & You' premise where the characters are in their later twenties (or at least at an age where they're expected to settle down).
Pam breaking up with Kawi and confessing to Dokrak were both incredible scenes, but why did they take place in such public uncomfortable places? At least the confession scene could have been on a quieter street or something (T-T) Still GL of the year tho, love them.
Still GL of the year tho, love them.
