Am I the only one who didn't like this? Story and dialogue writing seem like a child wrote it. There were numerous plot holes that I wasn't able to overlook and the "heists" seemed very childish like only an absolute fool could be easily tricked by Joker's trickery. Maybe it's just me because I usually watch intricate and deep plots, so this one was just too much of a lackluster. I really dont think this show is anything over an 8.0, let alone 8.8 (way too high for the quality it is produced).
Can anyone explain why at 34 min on the last episode, it appears like it is a scene from the future where He Xi finally graduated from pilot school and has been back to China for some time but still didn't contact Yi Mei; she made several gazes at him but he didn't see her and you can see the disappointment in her face, but then also a feeling of "oh well". It appears like Yi Mei was just a raft while he was at his lowest point in life but discarded when he no longer needed it as he achieved his piloting dream. But the finally few minutes show the current time of her sending him off to pilot school and he even promises to be back in 1 year but was stopped short of confessing by Yi Mei. I understand that the producer wanted an open ending where He Xi and Yi Mei can be together in the future, but the scene at 34 min totally obliterated that possibility.
This drama is just so WOW that it’s my first comment ever and I’ve seen many dramas. The acting and plot are great and pretty much flawless. I binged this in 2 days and now having one of the biggest withdrawals. I just can’t get over the sad ending even though it was completely expected; hates how it resolves around unresolved misunderstandings and lack of communication (until it was too late). Not recommended if you detest sad endings. I think about this all the time throughout the day, need to pick up a happy drama real soon or this is gonna give me a prolonged depressed mood.
