truly the most healing drama i've watched since hospital playlist, i love how the friendship between the main squad is developing and they become more and more precious to me with each episode <3
i'm glad to see i'm not the only one finding similarities in vibes with hospital playlist, the comforting atmosphere and calm pace of the drama is very nice and i love the friendship between the lawyer crew, they really remind me of the lacking five <3 it's got a promising start so far and i hope it continues that way, i've been disappointed by too many dramas after the halfway mark lately hhhhhhhhhhh
imma need everybody who was convinced the prince Knew until this point to EAT THEIR WOOOOOORDS LMAOOOO he's a dumbass but i already knew bc what do u mean he only realized in EPISODE 9 not only his romantic feelings (apparently he was completely oblivious to them until now?? and not even in denial??) but also that deoksu is a she........ dumbest person in all of hanyang award i s2g kjfghkd anyways, all that aside, i love that we finally got some proper backstory on the master innkeeper lady and deoksu's dad it was about damn time!!
HAHAHAHAHAHA i was right after all, the prince has yet to make any connection between that poster and deoksu dressed up as a woman, everybody thought he was smarter than that and just pretending he doesn't know, but yall overestimated him!! i never doubted my dumbass bisexual king i always knew!!!!!!! he's still just gay for his homie!!
i'm sorry but i have to say this cause it seems like nobody else finds anything wrong with it: it's extremely weird to have even a hint of any sort of romance between daniel (producer/executive/ceo whatever type of big boss he is at that company) and emily/duri (a literal idol trainee). like besides the fact that she's essentially a 70 yr old granny in the body of a young girl, even if that wasn't the case, the huuuuuuuuuge power imbalance between daniel and her, especially in this kind of entertainment industry where we constantly see young girls being taken advantage of by higher ups in their companies, makes this whole thing questionable at best. especially in the current climate with real life SA cases like we've seen in 143 ent (justice for gaeun btw), to romanticize this kind of dynamic/relationship is very disturbing and really takes away from my enjoyment of the show.
there could've been other ways to make daniel be idk her ally (?) in this company, and if they wanted romance they could've just stuck with mr. park (old or young, he's a hottie either way). there really was no need for a "love triangle", especially with this kinda predatory dynamic between daniel and duri. just because he's young and hot by society's standards, doesn't make it any more okay or digestible in my opinion.
another fantastic episode today, the plot is thickening and i'm already counting the hours until next week!! also i cannot believe that lee eunho apparently still hasn't figured out that deoksu is a woman? i would've thought he would've made the connection between her dressed up as a woman and the missing person poster, but no?? well, i'm personally not mad about it at all because it means more chances for a bisexual crisis/awakening yum yum
me personally i've been hooked since eps 1-2, but every new episode is better than the previous and it's getting me more and more interested in the story!! i am already counting the hours until the next episodes!!
I don't usually add variety shows to my watch list, but this show was the most wholesome and precious thing I've ever experienced in my entire life!! I'll never be the same after watching it :')
Easily best drama of 2023 for me, my heart hurts to say goodbye to these wonderful characters, but it was such a beautiful journey, i cried so many times (mostly happy tears), and i will cherish it as a comfort show forever <3
