This is gonna be controversial
So, I watched it a mere month ago and I already don't remember A LOT of things. I know a lot of people loved it, but imo the drama is just forgettable. There is nothing really that sticks out besides its truly stunning cinematography.I do remember appreciating the heavier plot, though. The characters are far more complicated than what I had seen in previous BLs. For that I give the plot an extra point.
I remember thinking the acting was alright, sometimes with awkward little moments, but nothing bad standing out.
Apparently though by my messages to a friend, i apparently thought the drama was heavily inspired by thai bls. At least I do remember the thai bls, though.
Overall more of a disppointment for me, because everyone kept talking about it and I had high expectatiobs.

Dreadful actually
So, I watched it because it's THE Bl, you know. You gotta watch it to understand why people love it or why they hate it.While I did enjoy ep 1 enough, I could not for the love of god enjoy the rest. TharnType are assholes and they deserve each other lol. Admittedly, they do have crazy chemistry. When they are not assholes to each other and being couply, they actually are quite cute. That's why I really enjoyed their special ep which was mostly fluff.
The acting is alright I guess. The characters are hella infuriating, you just wanna slap them all the damn time. Except for Techno, the only guy with a braincell.
Everything and everyone is pretty dramatic and toxic, lots of people love that (as you can see), but it's not for me. I probably won't watch S2 either.

You kinda want to fall in love along with them
First time I watched the trailer, I thought it wasn't for me. But after everyone raving about it, I got curious. What can I say? ThamePo make falling in love feel so amazing, you just kinda want to fall in love with the way they are falling in love. You know, the "courting", the shy smiles, the long phone calls. The part when you are just giddy at the thought of spending time with your crush. The drama does it really well.
I was surprised how fast the drama passed. At ep. 9 I felt like barely anything had happened, but at the same time it did?
The story line to save MARS was cute, but it made me go crazy how none out of 5 people considered to speak to any lawyer regarding their contracts. Also the ending made no sense with the CEO suddenly deciding to play nice and STILL no laywers involved? Like on the one hand it showed realistic things, such as angry fans that were pissed at their idol to be dating. But then wrap up the whole show in the most unrealistic way ever.
Also I am convinced we were robbed of Emo!Thame writing sad love songs. And I wanted to see the reaction of Netizens when they find out about ThamePo!! Can't believe we were robbed of this.
The acting was not bad, considering it was mostly their first time. Unfortunately, I had just watched something else with really good acting performances so the difference was stark. I have seen far worse acting in BL, though. WilliamEst have good chemistry, I look forward to more projects hopefully!
Music was really nice! Ironically, we don't get a scene of one of the protagonists standing on stage with a guitar, singing to his bae.
I rated the rewatch value rather low, because (as of right now) I don't really feel the itch to rewatch.
Overall, it's a good drama though. IMO just not the best GMMTV has ever produced.

Lots of wasted potential
The Eclipse starts interesting enough, it really does help that the plot isn't your typical HS BL stuff. But then it falls flat. Like, that writing was Not Good towards the end. So many things that were not properly built up/resolved so it feels a bit like a whiplash. Some things are never discussed anymore (like why does Thua not like his step father??)Truly a pity, it could have been much better.
The actors were great, no wonder FirstKhao is popular, they have amazing chemistry and it's just fun to watch them. NeoLouis had great chemistry too. Also the trio's friendship is adorable.
It's a drama I would recommend if someone were to ask me about a BL without the typical plot, but in general it wouldn't neccessarily be on my Top 10 list.

It's not perfect, but it's fun. It's at some points over the top ridiculous and in other moments it tries a more serious note. It's light and cute.
The leads have a lot of chemistry, their BTS kiss that tragically didn't end up in the drama made me watch this. Their acting wasn't particularly strong in the beginning, but I felt like we gradually saw them getting better each episode.
The story line is simple and sometimes even very cliche, the angst is predictable and in my opinion not properly resolved, the writing lacked in that aspect. The ending felt weirdly rushed but it was cute at least!
More couple moments would have been really nice, I think fans would have enjoyed that more and also shared it more on SNS therefore gaining more attention but oh well.
Even though I thought it was a light, no brainer drama I kept thinking about this couple the entire next day. For a niche BL drama the quality really wasn't all too bad. The chemistry is everything though.

Cried basically the second half without a stop
What a beautiful movie. I'm writing this review as my tears dry on my cheeks. I felt like this movie especially resonated if you are Southeast Asian. It felt so realistic, the homes so lived in, as if we really were seeing a part of these people's lives and not a film set. The story is heart-wrenching, at some point I'm not even sure anymore why I'm crying, but the tears kept coming. I wasn't sure if I was crying out of sadness or happiness. The movie shows how, sometimes, it's in the quiet and non obvious ways that we love.
The acting was great, I was really surprised to find out the actress that played the grandma had her acting debut with this movie! Wow.
The music fit so beautifully, it was such a great movie.
I just rated the rewatch value low because this is the kind of movie that will tear you up completely, but you can't really handle watching it more times.

Took me completely by surprise
Listen, if you also belong to those that think "High School? Man, I'm too old for that" let me tell you: You will never be too old for this serotonin boost. At first, I didn't wanna watch it. The trailer didn't capture my interest, it looked like a cute silly HS romance, like, nice and all, but not what I'm looking for. Then I kept seeing people talking about it and was in the mood for something light and sweet and man I do not regret it a single second! This series made me smile like crazy every Friday, literally my support gays!
TinnGun are the sweetest, literally smiling as I'm writing all of this. They are so cute and so funny, Tinn with his daydreaming never failed to make me laugh. GeminiFourth are terrific actors and they are only 18! It's insane how well they work together.
The other actors were fine, too. Especially the parents were great. Their characters are all supportive to each other, Chinzhilla friendship is lovely! They are sometimes really dumb, but you must understand - they are dumb /together/!
The storyline is nothing too crazy, but it excels at what it's doing. Of course, at some points it's a little bit predictable, but overall that's fine. I don't think anyone starts MSP and expects crazy plot twists everywhere. The last episode had a few moments I felt like could have been resolved better, but nothing too crazy. The plot has its more serious moments, but the writing never fails to feel balanced and thouroughly thought through.
The music, though! Fire! Ford's "Come Closer" is my favourite Thai BL OST EVER so far, play it at my goddamn wedding!
If you are looking for something to make you feel better, to make you giggle like crazy and laugh out loud, this is for you!

One of the most beautiful BLs out there
It's stunning and beautiful in so many diffferent ways, not only in terms of cinematography but also story. It's a far more mature plot than we are used to in especially Thai Bls, but it's what makes it special. We see these two people step by step falling in love, but we also watch how Tian falls in love with the life at the little village and everyone and everything who is a part of it.
Lots of people are frustrated by the lack of kisses, but I think we got a lot of intimacy before that. I do wish though the actual romance after the disruption was handled differently and more thouroughly. Also more couple moments would have been nice!
While a lot started to hate Phupa for what he said and done and I get their frustration, I think it was understandable to a degree, why he misunderstood. I just wish they would have talked about it better.
EarthMix were lovely, I am glad they have Moonlight Chicken coming up!
The music was ewually beautiful and really elevated the mood and feeling.
I really don't know what kind of magic P'Aof puts into his work but I hope he never stops!

When the plot is more interesting than the main couple
The plot on its own is interesting, I really like the whole illegal organ selling thing. Very dark and very unusual for BL. That's why I like it! I would have wished they would have dived deeper into it, but maybe that's what 'Transplant' is for. It's interesting to watch Tin trying to break out of the loop, but it is also very frustrating (due to the nature of the plot obviously). There were definitely some plotholes and weak moments in the writing.I also believe because of the endless loops, it was hard to build up a proper romance between the leads. I haven't watched their previous work, but their chemistry personally didn't really work for me here. I can't pinpoint what exactly it is, but I'm just not really feeling the chemistry. It's not bad by all means. It's just not...very exciting.
The acting overall was alright, though.
I did enjoy watching it, I wouldn't call it the best BL out there, but everyone who wants to watch something that is more focused on a complex plot should give it a try!

Plot is even dumber than in S1
When you think S1's plot is dumb, S2 somehow manages to beat it. What was the point? Should have given us 4 Episodes of them making out or just being couply instead, I would have given it a 10!There was some angst about their marriage. I do appreciate that Kuea talked about it eventually and the moment Lian looked so hurt but so ready to support him? Man, I hate Zee, stop making me feel so WEAK.
Yey for the character development (?) of Kuea telling that dude he's got a rich and hot boyfriend like yeah! You go buddy, show off your sexy man.
The whole wedding itself was a big wtf. These guys have been engaged for 20 years and never talked about what they wanted and then threw everything at the poor secretary instead of hiring and actual wedding planner??? Man deserves a raise and 2 months paid vacation.
Also what was that catastrophe plot at ep 4 and then Perth/Jay magically appears and suddenly everything is sunny and amazing again?
The side pairings have great moments, though. NuerSyn are adorable!
Anyway, it was fun while it lasted, while I have a lot to criticise about Cutie Pie, I did enjoy watching it. ZNN's chemistry alone is worth everything.

DMD's best BL out there
At first, I didn't want to watch it because I am a scaredy cat and can't handle horror. But this was fine once you got used to it (after watching with a friend).Khemjira is the biggest BL this year, maybe even in the last few years and if you would have told me a few years ago DMD would be able to produce this kind of BL I would have doubted you HARD.
It's obvious DMD is really picking up on production now, the setting is great. It really takes you to this little village somewhere in the north of Thailand.
The Plot itself is very compelling and interesting, truly unique in the BL game. As a Non-Thai person it is super interesting to watch so much of their shaman culture/beliefs. The characters are all likable, even the antagonist to a certain point. She is not just evil, but a broken woman with backstory. So that was great! Obviously doesn't excuse her behaviour, but makes it easier to understand why she's doing what she's doing.
The acting is, for a BL, quite decent. I say this with all my love for Thai BLs btw. But there are still moments where I feel like I'm getting pulled out of the moment because I wonder what's going on with the acting. Pity. But I have seen far FAR worse in another dramas.
The music is amazing, it really fits the whole setting and 'Mantra' wow what a great song.
My biggest problem is, unfortunately, the final episode.
I don't know if I was expecting too much or something, but the episode was more of a 6/10 for me. I personally didn't really like the way Ramphueng's scene was written and produced. I think it's beautiful that her deepest wish was just to see her child again and that was very emotional. But I feel like the way it was handled was just meh. Also, the whole Khem is getting whipped but barely makes a sound? Eh. Even if he was holding back any screams to spare Paran for example, the camera should have shown that.
Their NC scene is imo one of the weakest NC scenes DMD has produced so far, which is honestly incomprehensible to me because their first NC scene in ep 8 was so beautiful. I had high expectations for this one, but it felt a bit too chroreographed for me. I don't mind awkwardness, but something felt just a bit off. Maybe I have to rewatch it, but I don't feel the need to rewatch it, you know?
I do appreciate them squeezing in a full hour of fluff, so plus points for that. But I'm so confused about so many things. Like why does it feel like in the two years until graduation, PeemKhem haven't met? If so, why? Also, I felt like afterwards, it lacked a little bit of natural flow between the main pairing who has been in love and been together for years and therefore should be without any stilted awkwardness. The latter point is more of a Thai BL problem in general, though.
So in total, it was still most likely the best BL of the year, truly unique in its own ways. I'm glad the leads had such a great break out drama and look forward to their future projects. I try not too have too much expectations for future DMD projects or else I will be disappointed (like with TNP). Would definitely recommend the drama to friends.

Didn't expect much but was left really suprised
I started watching Perfect 10 Liners , because I wanted to give ForceBook another chance. I had watched their other stuff and while it did get better, I still wasn't feeling them all too much. The story line for ArcArm is rather simple, but the writing made it really fun to watch. Arm-Po-Sand trio were the funniest, I just kept laughing whenever they started their shenanigans. It was an absolute delight to watch them. Also I think this is the best ForceBook I've watched so far. Their scenes as an established couple are so cute and lovely and their chemistry really shines in this drama.
As I was only interested in ForceBook, I thought I'd stop watching after ep. 8, but I was curious to see more of PerthSanta so I kept watching. The pairing delivered impeccable chemistry. Their scenes as a pair were so sweet, it was a joy to watch them. Some of the plot in the YothaGun plot line was a big question mark for me, but generally, it was fine.
Then I was convinced I wasn't interested in FaifahWine (JuniorMark). I didn't really feel much for their scenes pre ep. 17 (when their arc starts). But after ep 16. I started missing the other pairings and Faifah easily became my favorite character, so I wanted him to finally get a cute bf as well and holy hell. This is a FaifahWine love post.
Faifah is easily one of my favorite characters in BL EVER. He is so beautifully complex with a story line that can only make him root for him. He showed so many admirable facets of him and also his great character growth we were allowed to be a part of. At first I didn't really like him much, because I thought he was a bit too goofy but by the last episode I was already sad that there was no more of him.
Wine at first seems to be your typical first year BL character that's a bit shy, but actually no! He's much more nuanced and understands Faifah in a way no one else ever did or ever could. They both make a beautiful pairing that balance each other well.
On top of that, I had never watched Junior and was honestly really suprised by Junior's acting. It was great to see him fill Faifah with so much life.
I am gonna miss them dearly, and before I even finished the last episode, I already wanted to rewatch the first episodes. You can't expect too crazy of a story line - it's still a Thai BL in a college setting (singing ofc included). But it was so fun to watch them all that Perfect 10 liners holds a special place in my heart, even though there are some things that made me wanna tear my hair out.

What the hell was that plot
ABAB should have just stayed the fluffy story between Cher and Gun for 12 episodes. Would it be boring? Maybe. But I prefer that to whatever the loving god we got instead. I am seriously struggling to pick which BL got a dumber and worse written plot between ABAB and Cutie Pie. Cutie Pie might actually be better, which is saying SOMETHING.The first half was fine. Actually, I really like Cher. He is a really refreshing BL character and I look Book's acting. They were couply and cute and having fun, like that's nice! We like nice things!!
Then they went and fucked over the second half.
The plot makes no sense whatsoever, what was the point of the whole ex bff? It rarely did anything for the plot. Cher basically breaking up with Gun in his head 500 times and irl 5 times and then Gun's mom only purpose is being a pain in the ass, she's not even one of these bitchier mother-in-laws. Her character makes no sense. She didn't even offer money!!! And then suddenly did a 180 like what?
Apropos 180! What the FUCK was Gun's character whiplash in episode 9? It didn't even fit his character and then there were NO CONSEQUENCES FOR HIM!! NONE!!! NOT EVEN A WORD!!! Literally ruined Gun for me.
And why the fuck was that co-worker who basically came outta nowhere the one sending the information??? Why did they built this up SO POORLY??
Either way, if I would rant about everything I hated, I'd never finish.
What I liked: The friend group is nice. I know some find Zo and Three useless to the plot, but I'd take them over the senseless plot any time. Jack was (trying to be) a good friend. I did like how they included he has depression and how everyone was chill bout it but they incorporated it so poorly, I wanna start ranting again.
I also think it's cool they talked about marriage equality in Thailand.
That being said: Why the hell would you build the last 10 minutes of ep 12 like it's a proposal AND THEN IT ISN'T???
Okay, done ranting. The drama is fine. Plotwise a black hole. If you ignore any sense you can like it enough, I guess. I am, however, rooting for ForceBook in Only Friends!

Great drama with some weaknesses
The Warp Effect has so much greatness in it, I ended up sending a 5 minute voice note to a friend why it's so good.It tackles so many problems in society without it being overbearing or too in your face. The writing is very clever, incorporating things without making the viewer feel like they are lecturing us. I kept catching myself beign surprised how many important topics we are talking about, such as how HPV vaccines aren't just for women.
I know a lot of people came for Army x Joe, but honestly, the show in itself is great.
The characters are fun and likable. I have to emphasize how I LOVE that Kat, the pretty and popular girl, wasn't your typical mean girl. No, she was nice and helpful, I enjoyed how Kat embodied a sexual woman who enjoys and wants sex and is unapologetic about it. She knows she's hot and she knows what she wants. Go girl!
In general, the women are written in a refreshing way, none of them are unlikable or annoying.
The guys are fine, too. Though, sometimes I'm not sure if Alex wants to help everyone 'cause he wants to go back or because he genuinely wants them to be better. Probably a mix. I love how he went back and gave everyone random advice they didn't get lol.
Beisdes all the good things the drama does (like how sex-positive it is. I absolutely love it), there are some aspects I didn't like. For example, Nim does not come across to me as a motherly person. She doesn't like kids, she doesn't want them, she looks at kids and feels her energy draining. Why would she have a kid? I understand that she wanted to make her then girlfriend happy, but I don't understand why her character development wasn't "I realized for myself I never want to have kids and therefore we weren't compatable. Not everyone has to have kids." That would be such a strong and powerful message, completely wasted.
There were other things that bothered me, but that was by far the worst one.
Also, it was so unrealistic for all of them to stay together and not have someone have break up. I know, it's a drama and fictional, but I would have appreciated it.
Overall, the actors are all great and fun to watch, the couples have good chemistry. I laughed and enjoyed myself. Very refreshing watch!

Complete whack but fun (kinda)
"What the heck am I watching?" - Me, at least 20 times in the first 4 eps.I have to say I'm so fricking glad Toh and Nuea take each other off the dating market, like y'all whackos deserve each other.
It's so over the top and camp, you need to accept that or else this is not gonna be the drama for you. It has some funny moments as well which makes it fun to watch.
Multiple people said the worst of the campness is in the first 4-5 episodes and truly, it gets much better afterwards. SCOY is enjoyable just by watching BillySeng's chemistry. It's great honestly, I am tempted to watch their other work just because I wanna see their chemistry together again. Their acting is good, love the whole popular guy - nerd dynamic.
Besides that, there are plenty other side couples without focusing too much on too many pairings at the same time (like in Between Us for example). They are also great and cute.
What I really appreciate about this drama and really liked is how we have a trans/nonbinary character. The friendship group talks about their struggle about their identity and honestly, the scene really stuck out because it was suddenly very serious and very emotional. Som was my highlight there. She is an amazing female character. Unfortunately, we don't get a lot of them in BLs since there are either a) barely any girls in BLs or b) if there are, they are often antagonists or pretty much insignficant.
Something else I found very interesting is that, we see an actual condom. I don't mean just the packaging but they actually take it out. Like, I've never seen it before in a BL if I remember correctly. Definitely cool.
Overall, if you can overlook the craziness of Toh, it's fun.
