Started off strong, ending made absolutely no sense. - zero. But hey, Seo Kangjun simping
See, I started this drama because of Kangjun obviously and even though I was already sensing where things were going to end from about episode 8, I kept watching because... 1. I hate leaving unfinished business, and 2. Seo Kangjun.Honestly this drama started off strong, I kind of had my hopes up but as it progressed I got more and more confused, lost track of all the time travels and events, who's whose father and son and so on. However I gave it a chance.
Acting game was on point, not only Kangjun's (wbk) but the rest of the actors really managed to pull of their assigned characters to the point I was getting genuinely angry with them.
Grid had great potential, and I am not saying this because I'm biased, but sacrificing Saeha was bullshit and not at all needed. Also Saebyeok and Eonjin??? Getting back together at the end??? Just no.
The overall moral of the story - that we humans will destroy the future generations' world - is deep and relevant. There is not doubting that. I simply think there were better possible ways to explore this topic without making everything so complicated.
The bottom line - if you just want to simp over Seo Kangjun like I did, go ahead watch Grid. I finished it in one day, last two eps wasted 100 minutes of my life. Saeha's fate felt unfair, so on and so on.

every time i thought this drama was easily predictable, a plot twist happens smh I LOVED IT
absolutely loved it, but damn! that ending?! you're telling me there isn't season 2?! why did it end like this ㅠㅠ i didn't want it to end honestly it gets you SO hooked. Kangjun getting punched almost every episode took me out, he looks so good in blood ngl... such roles suit him best imo!the government corruption portrayal is quite on point, as fiction as it may be the number of similar series shows they aren't being written pointlessly. yes it is a bit of a cliche storyline but the uniqueness in the way all the actors played their characters and got into their tempers well deep is a noticeable difference compared to other crime dramas i have seen.
to me personally the censorship of blood, gruesome scenes and weapons was a bit too much - it is crime after all but i respect it nevertheless.
overall it is definitely a good crime series i'd recommend (also bingeable - finished it in 3 days)
