What i most look forward to is how the show will lay out to us what Type's plan was and how he executed it, it has to be epic. I know Type getting drunk that night with Lhong just has to be a part of it and he was pretending to be passed out when Tharn was cleaning him on the bed and saying all of those sweet things :)

oh i had no idea that's how it was for Mew but i know the crying in the break up scene had to come from somewhere deep because he went into full out ugly cry when he fell to the ground. Good Stuff! I really hope his personal life improves though, he looks like a gentle soul that deserves love. I think a guy would be lucky to have him but most guys he meets aren't ready for what he is ready for, according to the little research i've done into his back story.

I believe Type realised there was something strange about Lhong when Tharn confessed that he and Type are in a relationship and Lhong dropped the glass of water. After that Type started consulting with him to figure out exactly what it is that he knows and what his role was as Tharn exchanged boyfriends every two months. The show will also show us other things that type did that we didn't see before. Type is truly a mastermind behind the scenes.

It's 3 weeks of waiting but i guess they say good things comes to those who wait. I must also bring attention to the acting in ep 11. Those two must have spent a whole lot of quality time together to give us such stellar performances in this episode. They must have really enjoyed the process......*Hint*Hint* ;--)

MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD FOR THOSE WHO DON'T HAVE A CLUE HOW EP 12 WILL POSSIBLY PLAY OUT!!!!

It is very easy to get caught up in the emotions of Tharntype ep11 and cry along with tharn and type. But i'm a very analytical guy and i'm also a writer. The stories I write are never as they seem and there is always a plot twist that you never see coming . But once you read the story again, knowing what the twist will be, you start to see little things that you didn't deem as important before or that you wrongly interpreted as meaning something else now becoming major details that led to and justified the plot twist. All of the BLs I have watched over the past two years ( and I have watched all of the good ones) carry the same plot formula that leads us to the happy ending. I haven't come across any plot twists in their stories in the way i just explained to you............................that is until now :)

Tharntype is brilliant! There are details in previous episodes that i had noticed but i didn't think much of them because i thought they wouldn't really lead anywhere (reminding myself it's BL i'm watching and not a mystery series where you have to follow the clues). But there was one line in this entire series that changed all of that and screamed at me "MAJOR PLOT TWIST AHEAD" and i smiled while i know almost everyone else would be crying. That one line is:

"Everything I do, I do it for you, Tharn"

Type is much more smarter than he appears. He has made sense of very little information about who the real puppet master is and created a master plan to expose everything, a round of applause to him. He had to be strong as he caused a few necessary tears to be shed, it's to make all the players in the plan believe what is going on. He took a risk but it will pay off in the end. I did some digging to test my theory about what will happen in ep 12 and it turns out i was right.
Type really loves Tharn and it's kind of scary (in that he really is that smart) yet sexy in my opinion the way he defends that love.

"Everything I do, I do it for you, Tharn"

That one line made me realize that Tharntype has now elevated BL to a whole new level, where you can read between the lines and follow the clues to an ending that has a plot twist that will be absolutely delightful and satisfying. All of the other BL series that they have in production for us should be studying all of the things that Tharntype did right in order to step up their game and give us quality shows. Us fans will always be loyal to them for that.

The one very unique thing Make Our Days Count has over every other BL series ever made, in my opinion, is how real the show is when it comes to portraying teenage boys. None of the actors are teenagers but they play teenagers better than actual teenagers. The brilliance of it is unmatched by any other series. I guess they have the writers and director to thank for pulling that kind of a performance out of them.

Also Xiang Hao Ting's family is one of the best (if not the best) portrayal of a lead character's family i have seen in a while. Normally what you get for the lead character's family in many shows is a bunch of uninteresting or one dimensional people that are just there to either support or oppose the main character. But in Make Our Days Count the family seem like actual people; Xiang Hao Ting's relationship with his sister is so real that i see myself and my sister in them sometimes. Plus some recognition should be given to how great of an actress the mother is.

Honestly I didn't pick up on that. I don't even know when it was said. But if something is said in passing usually you don't regard the information as important. The show has to put it over in such a way that we as the viewers realise that what was just said is something that will have huge implications down the line or else you would just not pay attention to it.

Hello, yes of course i have seen LBC and loved it! But i was too enamored with TinCan to pick up on Tharntype's little story arc in that series. They were minor characters so why give them all of that focus? I was made aware that Tharntype was linked to LBC as i started watching however. But im too lazy to go back to see how at the moment. But when LBC season two is released i will go back to it to refresh myself on season one. But as i said previously, a late night text that Tharn deletes or an unknown phone call that he doesn't answer would have done the trick and not have us have to reference another show to understand Tar's link to Tharn.

Oh well now that part makes complete sense to me. Lol it's kinda like Harry Potter where you had to read the book before or else certain things would go right over your head. But the show could have let us know about Type's dislike . The writing allows for us to be to taken there without it seeming out of place.

Hey guys, this is my first comment/review ever on this site. Here are my thoughts on tharntype the series so far:

Tharntype is hands down one of the best BL shows this year and most likely it will finish in everyone's top 3 (That's unless something drastic happens in the remaining episodes). But so far my only criticism comes from episode 8. I thought Type's present to Tharn was on point, it goes with Type's character. But then the storyline went in a weird direction where Tharn was flirting with the condoms. In my opinion that little tangent seemed more like a public service announcement to have safe sex rather than having any relevance to the story; plus the numerous times those two had sex you never had any indication that protection was used so having that condom flirting scene seemed strange. Type presenting a whole bunch of it wrapped up in a bow as a gift was genius though lol.

That guy, Tar, suddenly having some sort of relationship with Tharn is a very interesting move story wise; it gives much more layers to tharn. But the way the story presents it to us is as i said 'sudden'. I'm guessing that's the intended effect that they wanted but in my opinion it could have been done better. I believe that we the audience needed to see that Tar was something that Tharn had at the back of his mind as the series progressed. No they don't have to let us know about Tar and his connection to Tharn at the starting of his story arc. But a late night message from an unknown number that Tharn sees and deletes or an unknown number calling him out of the blue that he ignores would indicate that there is something mysterious going on with Tharn on the side. Then when Tar gets the notification on his phone that it is Tharn's birthday it would make that moment all the more epic when you connected the dots. Instead we just get Tar being thrown into tharntype's story almost like a plot device to make things even more dramatic without giving us a proper build to that point.

The last thing i don't understand is why the drama is coming from Tharn's past. At the starting of the series it's Type who has the dramatic past and i thought we were heading down that direction where Tharn would have been there by his side as he properly confronted his trauma. Instead we are getting unnecessary drama from Tharn's past when type is clearly the one with issues that are not being adressed. Yes Type talks about his baggage with Tharn but that's all, they just talk and the series doesn't really do much else with it. But instead we get problems coming from Tharn's Ex boyfriend(s).

Wow i spoke a lot but what do you guys think? Is any of what i said making sense or am i getting it totally wrong?
