I personally find it very insensitive and offending say that the FL is fault here. The FL did what she thinks it’s right - to slay the drought dragon so that ten thousands of humans can live. Even if it meant defying the heaven’s will, that’s her way of living and her moral/god’s code. However it’s the betrayal of the ML who unilaterally decided her punishment so he can still be a ‘god’ and abandoned her. Whatever that comes after is the result of his actions, it doesn’t matter if the humans beating her, killing her disciple and herself, was karma set in by the ML. If he at least checked in on her once in awhile, maybe he would have intervened, who knows? Like what the time god has said, the ML who IS the strongest god at their realm failed to see the truth even when he had the ability to do so back then.

Also to hate the humans just because they killed her of that incident is not her character at all. You do not place judgement on everyone and treat everyone the same just because there are black sheeps.

‘You are free to enjoy the show and keep watching’ but you could write up a reply to me critising the ‘script/drama/scenes/execution/direction/acting’.

The fact that you only ‘continued to watch’ because the actors were ‘cute’ & out of ‘BLs’ to watch, speaks a lot about your preference & taste. I’m not the one to judge people’s preferences but for someone who talks so much about the plot & all the script/acting as you mentioned, its pretty ironic that you continued watching because of the actors’ visual. Because you wanted a super interesting plot, or amazing cinematography shows, there are tons out there, even if they arent BL.

When it comes to realistic romance, yall all have some insane misconception that the love story should be super interesting. It can never be non-cliche, and should fit all your expectations of a wonderful love story with zero plot because love wins & everything else doesnt matter. Everything should fall within your expectations and nothing extremes like these can never happen.

I’m not here to mock people of the miscommunication troupes but here to remind everyone, that not everyone is the same & experiences the same thing. Some people take it to the extreme while some don’t. This allows for character growth & hopefully could teach/pass the message to someone that might be dealing with the same thing. If yall end up finishing the show & still feel that nothing was resolved then feel free to be my guest to complain about the show.

Just 2/3 years ago, there was a famous K-drama about an austistic attorney called ‘Extraodinary Attonery Woo’ that provided us insights to austistic people & their community. While most of us are unable to relate to her char on a deeper level, it shows us bits of information to understand her character slowly throughout her series. Towards the end of the drama, every viewer would have learnt something new and have a more open mind towards their community.

Also my 2cents(unrelated above), the show (to me) was decently shot & well executed compared to the horrible shows out just displaying visuals & love scenes. If you want to call out shows for plot, be my guest but please don’t watch shows for the boy’s visuals and still criticise the plot…

The amount of comments I’ve seen complaining about the 2 main characters lacking ‘communication’ is unbelievable. Ba Woo has experienced being confessed to with a friend (the girl) and also tried confessing to Jihoon as well. He knows how the friendship will end if Jihoon does not have the same feelings towards him but he took a brave step & confessed. Even if it was subtle and not super direct, the moment Jihoon did not even think about the possibility of what Bawoo’s ‘I like you’ meant there was already a very slim chance of mutual feeling, even Jihoon’s friend constantly tease their relationship & dropping couple quotes about their friendship yet Jihoon never takes the hint. In viewer’s perspective it’s very obvious to us that they should openly communicate and clear the air but yall should know how much courage it takes to confess to your bestie of almost 10-20years, it will never every be easy, it also fking hurts if your bestie brushes it off & never considered it. It doesn’t matter if Jihoon is overly dense or slow, it still hurts.

Also if they actually communicated, this show will end in 1 episode of 30mins. Ha Min will also never show up as a character, is that what yall want? Hiw is a story good if everything went smoothly? Reality is not everyone is perfect and capable to resolve everything that. Us as viewers has hindsight of the story but not the characters.

Sorry but I don't get what you mean but how budget is just an excuse. Money does not drop out of thin air. If anything I learnt from the first 10 episodes of this drama - is that money is a huge obstacle when it comes to creating a film.

There are just things you cannot afford to do when youre filming in public spaces. Yes, you can avoid adding the scenes into the show like you mentioned but realistically how many takes can you do to get the perfect shot? They could retake the shot but there are tons of crew, schedules and money to pay while they redo the shot. How can you guarantee that the next shot will be perfect?

Just statistically speaking, the amount of tech we have now, 1 out 3 to 5 people will have a standard smartphone/earbuds/tablets. There are only so much things you can control. You can criticise the show for it or give it a low rating but I will never put the blame on the production crew when I know they are working on a constraint. (Speaking from experience) because I know how tough it is. The cinematography from this show alone triumphs most contemporary cdramas I've watched recently, the amount of effort should be recognized.

You're severely looking down on the amount of funds and budget required tbh. If you're pointing out scenes where they were filmed in sets then yes, such details should not be neglected. However a ton of funds is required if you want a perfect public space shoot some details cannot be 100% achieved.

After watching episode 18 and 19, it reminded me of those vertical short dramas that is full of revenge drama plot that you don't need your brain to watch. As a spineless useless narcissist father, you're telling me that HE planned all that murder, poison, fire, burning the books and not a single hint of investigation is being made???? The Pei fraction has long fallen, he is one of the few people left & he managed to do all that by himself and left no traces???? Something is f-ing wrong with the plot and adaptation!

Even if he is the only one to redo all the burned books, expose him of all his crimes then LOCK HIM UP and force him to redo all the books because its so obvious that he's the one behind it if they actually INVESTIGATED him.

The only reason why I will come back for this is because I want to see Hanyan finally take her revenge for her family. The romance? Failed terribly and I can't even picture it anymore after seeing Fu Yunxi stopping Hanyan with some half ass logic. Gosh!

I am going to miss Thamepo fridays so much. Top notch cinematography and OSTs & the chemistry was shining and captivating from start to the end. This has to be one of the best bl drama I have watched since I started watching BL from the series Love By Chance. Really praying for more williamest series in the future!!

There's no use to just get Thame back without fixing the root problem where Oner and the CEO still has full control over their contracts. It has been explicitly mentioned that Thame has been completed isolated, cant be contacted and the CEO is by his side almost 24/7. There's no magic solution to just meet Thame out of nowhere. Their only hope is to meet at the concert because Thame must participate the concert as it was announced as their last concert. We all wish to see them back together but there's a storyline to follow and issues to fix.

There are good adaptions and horrible adaptations. GMMTV is a company that’s definitely has the budget and manpower to adapt a series well enough. So the cutting of episodes made it feel rushed. Don’t get me wrong, despite everything, I love the chemistry, the shots, the acting and many more. But the whole episode 15 was almost 80-90% that only exists in the series. Then the whole story will feel incoherent and out of place.

For example, 1) Yotha kissing Wa at the bar to ‘confirm’ his feelings. Weird. 2) Overcoming their PTSD within an episode (one weekend in the script). Rushed. 3) The bar fight with Klao & the rest.. super out of context. Instead of catching Yotha directly or at least threatening Yotha using Klao as friend bait, Newton/ Wa was the one reporting Klao’s disappearance. Just so happen to find them on the street… while in a cab?

To be fair, Thame did neglect/disappointed Po on several occasions. 1) Thame didn’t reply Po messages until late night 2) Jealous Thame did not continue calling Po for their late night talks 3)We all know how the movie date went…

All these scenes get resolved without Jun, so he wouldn’t have known that Thame promised to always reply Po’s messages & spend time to watch the movie he wanted. All the lovely scenes of Thamepo was only shown to us. Even the romantic scenes like memorising Po’s number & the back&forth walks. Jun couldn’t confirm if Thame really liked Po because he gets his story from Po’s POV. Also, this episode address the struggles of Po being a partner that is TOO understanding, He always made sure Thame doesn’t feel bad for not keeping up to his promises & dismisses anything bad/negative. It may be a side-product/reflection of his prev ex that used him & dumped him, especially when Earn needed to do alot of work to start his company, he probably neglected Po the same way and now he’s used to it. Thame asking Po to stop saying ‘it’s all right’ will probably break him out of his shell more.

IMO, after Jun confirms Thame’s feeling, he decided to give up because he knew what Po said was true and they do like each other so Jun willingly gives up knowing he stood no chance. There isn’t a point trying anymore & he can keep his friendship with both Po and Thame.

Yotha has already gone through the trauma of a broken marriage & still decided to gave love a try with Warit but was only faced with another heartbreak where he was literally abandoned by someone who he thought loved him A SECOND TIME. Even Gun knows and does not want him to go through another heartbreak if he cannot confirm his feelings and commit to another rs.

If you have been actually watching the show and pay attention to the details, Yotha doesn’t and cannot communicate with words. He does it through his actions. For someone special to him, he doesn’t speak about how he feels often, even with Gun, he only used facts like calling him cute, an exception or beagle. He even needed Arm to clarify if Yotha wanted a roommate or Gun back. In another fight, Yotha said ‘I’ve tried everything I know, I don’t know how else to make up to you.’ when trying to make up to Gun then proceeds to kiss him because this man is lost as f***. He grew up in a household full of man and look at Yotha and his father communication. Unlike New or Faifa who jokes around with him, the man said close to nothing about his life update.

Everyone is imperfect and you can have your opinion. But I’ll never speak down & belittle my loved one when he’s having a hard time. If Gun wanted out as an ‘innocent party’ he would leave. In the end the decision lies in both of them if they want to make it work or end it right there. No one is projecting anything. Gun was the one who told Yotha that he was willing to wait for him without having Yotha asking, and not the another way around. Also a lot of people kiss, hug and hold hands without being a rs. it’s all part of the process to figure out if you really like them and wish to commit. I don’t find it cruel at all because that is how Yotha convey his feelings of love in actions.

Sorry to people here who thinks Yotha can suddenly convert himself into a love saint after experiencing all that trauma. You don't just turn on and off your feelings like a switch. I myself went through a horrible breakup 6 years ago and I'm still unwilling to meet new people/commit into new rs. My breakup was probably not even as bad as Yotha's trauma.

'Everyone griefs differently' is such a common phrase. Whether is losing your loved ones or going through hardships, everyone deals with their issues at a different pace and methods. So instead of criticising Yotha for being such a 'red' flag to Gun, please spare a thought to all the heartbroken people out there, would you say the same thing to your loved ones going through a hard time?

You're totally right but too be fair, he has 'broken up' with Klao already.. (not trying to justify anything but just a thought. The kiss... wasn't in the novel, so it was added for dramatic effect or simply to cut short the time. It a simple way to immediate let Gun understand the type of rs that Yotha and Wa have/had.

Totally valid reaction from this episode. I hope you change your mind in the later episodes.. he'll get better :P

While the kiss was added dramatically.. it didnt make sense at all hahaha. Klao's char development in the books (i.e the kidnap scene) was way more dramatic imo but I guess they didn't want to spend too much screen time to make Gun realise Wa and Yotha had a thing, and made a small kiss scene to supplement it.

Firstly, the apology was not accepted. Unlike the first apology kiss that happened earlier in the episode, Gun did not reciprocate the kiss and pushed him away. Gun simply offered a chance to communicate because he had been ignoring Yotha (in the books he ignored him for many days/weeks). You can tell from his expression that he isnt back to his normal bubbly and happy self.

Next, Gun is not a confrontation type of person/char at all. He is a char that runs away at problems and putting on a facade. He never talks about his trauma with sleeping (always glossing it over with his smile) and even here asks Faifa to change rooms without talking to Yotha. I doubt he will even mention about the kiss at all. However we have acknowledge that it wasnt the act of kissing Warit that caused the issue, its the fact that Gun do not know if Yotha has the same feelings from him or if does it to everyone. Its the ambiguity flirting that needs to be addressed. 'Do you really like/love me, and only me?' that should be communicated & not 'Why did you kiss Warit?'. It doesn't solve the root problem of their relationship and only bring back bad memory. The end result should be they discussing their future instead of talking about past rs.

I know some people might disagree that some people are about to discuss about your ex rs to your new partners like it nothing but the lesson here is you grow from your past rs and don't repeat the same mistake, and not focusing on the actual event that happens. Talking about your feelings only.

He has issues but he grow out of it eventually. Even Klao has major issues in the book but they slowly learn their lessons :)

To simply put, Yotha was heartbroken due to his parents & Wa was heartbroken with his ex. They got together thinking that it would solve their loneliness but it didn't. Wa broke up with Yotha because he understood that they did not love each other at all, Wa only had brotherly love for Yotha.

A little novel spoiler, I'd say Faifa is one of the most depressed characters, even more so than YothaGun right now but lets wait for his story!
