Why can't we have a more successful FL without needing to have the ML show her up at her job right off the bat?…
I appreciate that the drama wants to show that the ML is a smart and capable forecaster, it just annoys me that they feel the best way to do so is by making the FL look less capable. There are just so many other ways to do that. Since the drama had already shown us plenty of examples of the ML being a weather genius and it doesn't seem to be using the conflict to add to the romance (at least as of episode 2), it feels pretty unnecessary to me.
But I think the main reason I found that setup annoying is that the "genius ML" trope is a bit overdone for me, especially when it's so in my face. Almost everything we learn about the ML in the first episode is about how amazing and genius he is at forecasting which after a while just made me roll my eyes and hope someone would take him down a peg. But I will say that I enjoyed episode 2 more than episode 1 and I'm starting to like the ML more. I'm cautiously optimistic about where the drama is headed.

Why can't we have a more successful FL without needing to have the ML show her up at her job right off the bat? Literally the first interaction they have is framed in a way to show the audience that he's a better forecaster than she is.
Okay, only on the first episode but the ML is driving me nuts. I find him extremely annoying. I think he's supposed to be cheerful and smart but he just comes across as smug and unprofessional most of the time. I was praying so hard that it wouldn't rain and he'd have to eat his words.
I'm usually fine with step-sibling romances, though I do find it a little strange if they've grown up in the same household since they were little.
The one that I find icky and don't like to watch is the "secret adoption" storyline where neither person grows up knowing that the other isn't their biological sibling. Or when only one person knows and the other thinks they are blood related. It especially squicks me out when the drama shows how super close the "siblings" are before they find out and use that to imply that there's already latent romantic interest. Just no.
Can someone help me out with the plot in episode 15? So Wan Mei has been sent to the city to spread a plague and kill the cult guy, right? Does she know that she is spreading the plague? Because it doesn't seem like something her character would willingly do - after all, she couldn't kill one innocent person and this plague is killing dozens of innocents. Also, how on earth do the town people know that the plague is her fault?
