i wonder why is it so hard to find this drama legally? what is stopping the drama team or anyone responsible for…
My guess is that once Netflix bought the rights to remake it as a Korean drama, Viki had to remove it from their platform. Hopefully Netflix makes the original available again after they're done airing the remake.
Go Ahead was at heart a family drama and from reading the synopsis it seems like that is changing. if the focus is now on three guys and their family issues then they should have just created an original drama.
I don't mind a remake, but hopefully they follow the same flow as the original and stick mostly to establishing the story/relationships of the three siblings (sister&brothers) and their 2 fathers before introducing new characters. Kdramas love to throw in unnecessary love triangles and side characters so I hope that stays at a minimum as well.
Everyone's talking about the female lead pulling off a high schooler and i'm here wondering how AHS will pull off a guy pushing 40yrs old. He has too much of a baby face and unless they change the ages I'm not sure if it'll be convincing. Another thing is I've seen a few of his dramas and I haven't really been impressed by any of his roles/acting....I've never seen the FL in anything so I'll reserve my opinion where she's concerned. I'll watch this when it airs but I'm not getting my hopes up too high. lol
No. It was actually Li Zi Wei she dating the 7 years her and "WQS" were together. WQS committed suicide by drowning when he was a teenager and LZW took over his body until the plane crashed. When the plane crash happened WQS body was officially dead and LZW was transported back to his original time/body.
How could this historical remake treat the plot of the original? The plot is that all the incidents happened in…
My exact thought. I don't get how it'll work as a historical but I'm sure they'll try to make it work some how, but I don't see what will set this apart from other time traveling historical Cdramas. I have a feeling it'll end up being nothing like the original with a whole new storyline.
Yeaaa! When they revealed that Su Lei and Luo Ke were basically kidnapped, I was waiting for a scene where they…
I wish they had showed that as well as Xu Nian meeting his mother. I also was hoping for the boys to be officially adopted by Xu Nian's great aunt as well, but oh well I still enjoyed the show.
This was a fun fluffy drama and I enjoyed it a lot. My only complaint would be that I would have liked to see the boys reunite with their families but we can't have everything can we? Overall I enjoyed Y4 and I'm a little bummed that they aren't a real idol group. lol
Also, I think there were 4 main leads in this drama. Each of the couples had the same amount of screen time and importance to the plot.
I decided to watch this drama due to a fan video I saw on YouTube. I'm on ep 6 and so far so good. The leads chemistry is HOT! Also, am I the only one who thinks that the male lead looks like a Chinese Lee Min Ki in this drama? That's all I can think about when he comes on the screen sometimes. lol
I watched this drama years ago while it was airing and it gave me a full introduction to what a great actor Chris Wu was. This was the first drama where the 2nd lead stole the show in such a way that everyone wanted him to end up with the female lead. The show was pretty much rewritten halfway through to where Terry had more screen time than the male lead and everybody loved it because he really was the star of the show. That was the first time I ever witnessed something like that and a first I ever saw the 2nd lead end up with the main female in all my years of watching Asian dramas. So for that reason and Chris Wu this drama will always have a special place in my heart. LOL
This show started strong but quickly became repetitive with the same events happening over again in every episode. The female lead treated the male lead the same way through the majority of the drama except for maybe the last 3 episodes. The last few minutes of ep 13 was handled in a mature way, but the drama lost steam in the middle. It's like the writers ran out of ideas and so decided that having the leads go through the same conflicts throughout the entirety of the drama would suffice in filling up time. That to me is lazy writing and I was not here for it. I wish I would have dropped this earlier when it became obvious but no I'm hard headed.
This drama was an amazing drama in my opinion. I usually dislike all the politics in palace drama, but the intrigue in this drama was pretty interesting. That may be attributed to the fact that the main couple were so intelligent that they were able to outsmart everyone, and that just made it really fun for me to watch. I love a power couple.
I loved that they stayed true to one another even with all the obstacles that were thrown their way, and you could feel the love and longing even if they barely touched each other in the later episodes. I melted every time Wei Guang looked at Ningzhi. His gaze is intense and penetrating! I think I just found another actor bias!
Overall it was a great drama with a satisfying ending. My rating is 8.5/10.
I've never watched this series, so the point is ...the YNZ at the beginning of the story of going out with the…
Ningzhi and the emperor are only married in name only. She would freak out if he even touched her hand let alone tried to sleep with her. LOL. The son is from another consort and she took on the responsibility of raising him. Also, Ningzhi was never the empress but everything else you've listed is pretty accurate.
what ep YNZ marry the king? also just saw the last ep who is the child that became king ? is it YNZ & Emperor…
He's the son of the emperor and noble consort that was executed. We saw him in the earlier episodes. To me it looks like Ningzhi took on the responsibility to raise him until he is old enough to make his own decisions as emperor. The episodes are still not subbed so I would have to wait until they are for confirmation.
I'm a simple woman 9/10
