So the third one is out now. It's been split into two seasons. It's basically a soft reboot and they named it "Reunion: Sounds of Providence". Basically same characters except this time his 3rd uncle is most likely dead and they haven't seen each other for YEARS. (I'm assuming this based on the synopsis' of the other ones. I never ended up watching the first few)
What do you mean when you say that there's a taboo against time travel and only 15% can be historical? China loves its period dramas and time travel dramas were all the rage in 2018.
The first episode was alright, pretty fast paced, but not sure if it'll continue this way
The first half made it seem like on of those british shows that are 6 episodes long but I thought that it slowed down a bit (might just be that I'm used to it already). I liked that every episode was jam packed with information rather than filler but I would probably also be fine if they slowed down the pacing and extended it to maybe 36 or something.
its good....its mysterious and gets you to want to know more....the other fact is it says she also plays a part…
Well not really. She's not really played. There's just a huge pot twist that someone dead is actually alive and then they aren't alive and weird stuff happens. She isn't really being used. Just realizes that there's someone other than her that's trying to kill people. And then there's another guessable plot twist (still great reveal) in the last episode.
Yes! It’s really keeping me guessing. And I feel like grabbing random strangers and telling them to watch it!
I agree. It's a great drama with great music. My favourite one would be the opening sequence. I also enjoyed the character and world building they did. The plot twist in the last episode is a huge one. It's kind of guessable but it was still a great reveal.
Im confused, the ML fall in love with Mo Wan or Mo Xin?And if its Mo Xin why does Mo Wan have to die? So who is…
The male lead falls in love with Mo Xin. The real Mo Wan isn't there. I don't know what happened to her. But the spirit in Mo Wan's body is Mo Xin with amnesia.
Yes you're absolutely right. For the first half of 2020 the 99% of the historical dramas are silly fluffy rom-com…
They're doing other stuff. It also has to do with the pandemic. The networks also have a huge amount of dramas, movies, reality shows, donghua, and etc. that they have to work on (shoot, produce, etc.) and they only have a few spots for them to air things each year so the network will pick a couple to air. Once the network gets an airing license, they will pick a time within that time period to start airing the product. That's one of the reasons why many projects that have finished filming years ago (ie. "The Wolf" staring Xiao Zhan and Li Qin) that still haven't aired yet.
Do they ever remember the stuff from before? Also, I liked the earlier her a lot better than her in the second 3/4. The second Chuyu is very different than Gabriella. She's good at memorizing things, good at dance, good at charades, good at crying on command, etc.
