beautiful leads (kim soo hyun and seo ye ji are breathtaking), beautiful acting (from oh jung se too... wow), beautiful cinematography (especially in the earlier episodes), beautiful location (love the house/castle), beautiful outfits (i mean, have you seen those flowy 'gothic heroine' dresses?). imo the characters are better than the storyline itself. moon young's one of the best female characters out there. i feel like i really understand her; same with the moon brothers. they're all so relatable! you know when people say "i feel seen"? well, i truly felt seen!
it was shocking reading the news yesterday. i didn't really follow his career but in my mind he was one of those classic jdrama actors everyone knows. such a long career at only 30 years old! rewatching "kimi ni todoke" (lovely movie) will be a bittersweet experience. RIP
i feel like a lot of people are dying lately... and his suicide is only days after naya rivera's death (not suicide, but still tragic). i pray that the list won't grow.
bruh it was so hard to find a "rough" looking actor because all of the major actors in his age bracket have that…
i know lol appreciate your efforts :D yeah i guess they'd adapt seasons 1-2 at best. agree, the bigger the cast, the higher the odds of idols playing a role! especially in dramas as hyped as this one would surely be.
interesting choices! i can't see yoo ah in as jamie though. haven't watched him in anything either, but i think he doesn't look "rough" enough. park seo joon would probably be better but yeah, nobody has the same vibes i get from jamie. and tbh i'm not the biggest fan of him, looks-wise and character-wise. anyway, what about kim soo hyun or jung jin young as lord john grey? and ji soo, do kyung soo or park hyung shik as (older) fergus? they're my fave male characters besides roger. i also feel that choi woo shik would be a great (and creepy) stephen bonnet. outlander is literally the only non-asian show i watch!
Happy ending? Will Tsuchiya and Nakajima end up together here?
no to both questions (actually, it's kind of open-ended, but one can easily guess what's going to happen). if you want me to spoiler the whole thing, just ask :)
My ultimate bias! He's so talented. ♥ I haven't found the courage yet to watch My Annoying Brother lol but in the things I've watched he was amazing. His acting in Hello Monster (I'll never stop praising it) made me realize he's one of the best actors in Korea - and maybe in the world ;) Thanks for the article :)
I love both Takumi and Mei, so at first I was very excited, but I'm not sure I want to watch it if she dies. That's also why I didn't watch I Want to Eat Your Pancreas. I want happy endings in romance!
Kyungsoo in Hello Monster/I Remember You was really amazing... in that drama about everyone's acting was great! I want to see him in more dark roles like that! Really curious to watch Husband of 100 Days when it finishes airing, but I'll read some reviews first in case it's bad lol Anyway, I love both his looks and talent, he's one of my absolute favorites ♥
It's interesting to see the differences between your list and the users' preferences (mine included). But probably the biggest difference between me and... basically everyone else is that I'd never put Jun Ji Hyun among the most attractive actresses lmao
I first watched him in Gakko no Kaidan and fell in love with his acting. That performance alone was enough to convince me he's one of the most talented young actors ever. ♥︎ Also loved him as a psycho in As the Gods Will; he's the only good thing about that movie.
Great list! Happy to see my ultimate favorites Do Kyungsoo, Park Bo Gum, Park Hyung Sik ♥ And speaking of Hyung Sik, before clicking on the video link I was thinking of that exact scene! For me, too, it was the one that made me fall in love with him and his acting... #stantalent
