Yeah for the royalty but for the other parts like manipulation, debt of gratitude and homophobia is sadly still…
Certain evils may never truly die, but the more love and acceptance we send out into the world, the more our world will heal. Think how happy Anin and Pin would be to know that couples like them will soon be able to marry in Thailand. I like to imagine them old, still in love and together, planning their own ceremony.
Sometimes with GL, it can feel like one person is alone against the world in the fight to be with the one they love. It's so much more complicated here due to the era and the matter of royalty, and I can appreciate and understand that. Now excuse me while I go empty the last tissue box.
Hopefully they do not add any more unnecessary men into the equation, but from what I can see, the only love triangle…
So then I'm wondering what Ob-oom's motive was in asking Ai-oon to break up with her lover? Was that some kind of revenge on May or did she mean to bring them together?
Objectively, it’s been terrible, but (some of) the characters do have their charm and it can be watchable at times. I skipped a lot of the early episodes, then watched bits and pieces of the rest and that’s the only reason I was able to enjoy it. They could’ve done something great with this, so it’s really too bad.
It's going to be interesting (emotional) to see how everything comes out and how those discussions happen, but right now, I'm just imagining how Lada would've felt if she had overheard that conversation between her parents.
I like both Earn and Lada quite a lot. I understand why Earn hasn't told Lada about the reasons behind what happened. I understand Lada's coldness until now and would've understood even if she was harsher. One thing I'm not really understanding, though, is the choice to never address the breakup (yes, there has been "you hurt me" but no "why/how could you?"). It's a bit odd to skip to Earn trying to win Lada back with no explanation or apology, odd to not show Lada first demanding to know: what really happened, if what Earn said was true at the time, what changed, why now... These questions should've been asked already, even if Earn had avoided them or made excuses. Nonetheless, I can put it aside because they are lovely together.
After ep 12: It would be an interesting twist if she and the detective actually did get together without either of them remembering it.
But I feel like the writer/audience wouldn't want (or rather, approve of) the FL having someone else's child, so it's more likely her husband will be removed from the picture by the end instead.
