Title Lie to Love
It's not that bad Leo still looks like he is mid 20's. They could also age Cheng Xiao's appearance and the age…
Do they have to cast someone 10 years younger? There are so many hard working diligent actresses Leo Yunxi's age. I swear it's like once a woman hits 27 she is either a support role or a villian.

If you are thinking that the FL is behaving like a child, then the actress is doing her job properly because Xiao…
Here's the thing, this is a trope that is so common in these Chinese fantasy stories. I don't care if that's her behavior in the novel, manhua, and donghua. Why is the female lead always assigned that role? Why is the same age male lead the stoic, responsible, diligent, calm one in these roles? So many shows I wanted to watch and enjoy but couldn't get past the childish behavior of the female lead. This is so common it's beyond just the "actress doing her job properly". Sometimes I don't understand how this is appealing to a mostly female audience, unless the audience is mostly teenage girls? Just FYI I'm not trying to start arguments with anyone.

Why is Jin MI such a child? Why are so many of these wuxia/xanxia female leads so childish? Is this a type of female lead that appeals to teenage girls? Help me out here people. Why do so many female leads look like teenagers but act like toddlers? Is this the male producers fantasies? Why do the usually same age male leads start out mature but not the female leads? Even the sword carrying warrior female leads ultimately do dumb childish things where they need to be rescued from themselves. Going from acting like a toddler to acting like a teenager is, in my opinion, not character growth. It's an overused trope and one of the main reasons I couldn't get into this show. I wish this story was just about the brothers. Sorry guys I'm allowed to have and voice my opinion.
