Today's updates with the character descriptions and relationship charts got me sooooo much more hyped for this! If this all translates well onscreen it will be a perfect drama 🙏🙏
Thanks for your comment, but this is my profile and my reviews and I can think and say whatever I want 💖💖…
I'm quite fine with criticism and quite unclenched 😄😄 You have a problem with me being "passive-aggressive" but your outward aggression is fine? I'm not obliged to give a show a positive review because I watched it, that's the point of a review. I'm sorry you took my review so personally though, but keep going if it makes you feel better 😊
I think your review is trash. You gave lovely runner a 7??? And this a 6??? Be so astronomically fr. Lovely runners…

Not me being on reddit... may I have the link pls?I am happy we can agree in some areas. As previously mentioned,…
My account is still new and under review so I guess I can't add any links to my comments yet, but your review was linked in the Kdrama subreddit, in a thread about dramas that were dropped in August!
And yeah some of the comments I saw were really wild, sorry you have to see those. We can't all like the same things so I don't know why people have to take it so personally 😬😬
And definitely, binging vs following weekly really changes the experience! Thank you for your review, it was really insightful!
Came across this review from a Reddit thread and I have to say you are very brave 😄😄
While I did enjoy the drama, I agree with a lot of your points, especially concerning the plot. The writing became repetitive and the character decisions didn't always make sense, especially Sol's. It's an issue for me with a lot of fantasy/sci-fi stories where they introduce a plot device that could have tied up the story quickly but instead the writers decided to draw out the plot unnecessarily. For example, Sol's ability to stop time when she says things from the future could have easily been used when she was chased by the serial killer before the time jump to the future in episode 7 or 8... The fantasy elements overall were very underdeveloped for me.
I think what helped me with the drama was that I didn't watch it because of the hype, I picked it up because I didn't have anything else to watch, especially after being disappointed with QoT. So I didn't have any expectations about the drama, and so I got to be pleasantly surprised instead 😄 What really kept me watching was the chemistry between the leads — not even just between KHY and BWS but also the actors that play Taesong and Inhyuk; I really enjoyed their dynamic and the friend group they formed. I also enjoyed the comedic parts. I was mostly invested in seeing the characters get their happy ending, so I think I was able to turn my brain off from thinking too deeply about the plot and the other downsides lol, at least until I'd finished the drama. For me the actors did a lot of heavy lifting.
And you're right that if it had been any other actors, the show may not have all the hype that it does (says a lot about the state of K-romcoms 😔). I think your rating is very fair, maybe I'd personally give it like a 7 because I did enjoy it a lot to binge it in like 2 days.
On the bright side, I came away from the drama as a fan of the leads; I've watched BWS and KHY in other things but wasn't really invested, but now I'm looking forward to their next projects!
