Too many plot twists, to the point of it feeling really ridiculous and being of cheap and lazy writing. Overall, characters did not feel fleshed out, especially the FL and the villain. Recent (2022 onwards) K-Dramas are mostly disappointing, repetitive and boring. Could have rated it lower than 5 stars but I did enjoy Kyung Soo's acting.

Having said all that, I am, however, satisfied and happy with the ending! Maybe this newfound bond with the small-town will help me like the FL a little bit better.

I'm on Episode 4 and I'm feeling really bothered with FL's acting, especially in her drunken state. But on the other end, really loving seeing Si Wan again on screen, even more so playing a shy ML. Anyway, just wanted to ask if FL's drunk acting will tone down in the succeeding episodes?

Anyone else getting similar vibes from Sell Your Haunted House? Apart from the supernatural/fantasy genre, I like the strong-willed, tough exterior female lead matched with a goofy but well-intentioned male lead, similar to both SYHH and Tomorrow. Amazing pilot, hoping they maintain this pacing and tone. And yep, please, no romance!!

People be complaining about "just" 12 episodes while so many scenes are draggy af
Agreed! Not only is it draggy but it feels like the 'normal' speed is too slow! I could get by with watching it at 1.5x speed and not miss a thing (and at least feel less bored lol).

I don't speak Korean or anything, but I started to get so irritated by the way Ji Ho kept talking soo slow one…
Haven't watched this (just scrolling through the reviews to see if I should) but yep, you're not the only one (though I'm saying this based on the dramas I've watched). This is why I rarely watch at normal (1x) speed; almost always at 1.5x speed and I can still understand the dialogue. I know some might say speeding it up ruins the drama, but I honestly never felt that way + I get more irritated with the exaggerated slowness.

Yeah me too. It was so unnecessary and random. Like it was there bcuz they only needed something to keep the show…
Apologies for the late reply. I agree with what you said, instead of making it exciting, it (plot twist) bothered me because it felt so out of the blue. Like, we know something is up with Andrew but revealing him as a murderer felt so cheap. I even went back to the episode where the wall of criminals were posted, Yi-hyun just walked past it, he didn't look at them so how did he instantly know "Andrew" was on that wall?! Haha, I may be overcomplicating it now at this point lol (or just quite bothered with how high the ratings are for this show).

I'm on Episode 12 and I just wanted to see if anyone shares the same sentiment as I do -- the "plot twist" of having a wanted criminal in the building all along who has been murdering the other residents "for fun" really stressed me out as it felt really unnecessary, random and forced?! Did anyone else feel this way? Or I'd also be interested to hear someone explain as to how this situation moved the plot forward (perhaps it emphasizes the greed of the other residents who "sided" with the criminal but still... meh).

Hey guys, wow, three users chiming in to encourage me to give Episode 6 a shot... I'm sold! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, much appreciated :)

Dropped it at Episode 5. It feels like the plot isn't moving forward, or if it is, it feels suuuper slow. I don't find myself rooting for any character at all. In fact, I find all of them annoying for some reason. Plus, they all seem so boring and one-dimensional. Maybe I'll pick it back up if ever the reviews are good in the end.

It's my opinion.
Then respect other viewers' opinions too and don't say "don't look too much into other reviews" or "they are shipping the wrong couple." The other reviews are just as valid as yours. I only said what I said because you were dismissing the reviews constructively criticizing the drama.

Lol you're delusional and oversimplifying the valid criticisms of many viewers. For the most part, it's not even about the Team NDS vs HJP, it's about the plot, the narrative development and continuity, the LOGIC, the character arcs and the script writing.
