Sorry, but the physical contact storyline makes no sense because in ep 1 there were several times that Ten touched Prem and no issue with it. Why all of a sudden does Ten have a problem with it in ep 2?
i really dislike this season. i had high hopes after season 1, but after they kind of finished their initial mission…
This. I don’t think Mon used her power at all this season, even though she has some of the most badass scenes in SS1. Punn developed his potential only to turn into an antagonist. Claire felt like the boys were making the wrong choice and yet the ladies didn’t get anything to do in the end?
The whole reason why they lost in SS1 was because they didn’t work together as a team. And yet this season they STILL didn’t do any teamwork. Pang made his own choices and did things by himself over and over again. None of it made sense.
Finally, some of the characters didn’t even make much of a difference in the end. Whatever happened to Ms. Darin? Or the Ministry Head? Why introduce these conflicts if they don’t fit into the overall story?
What made SS1 so special was that each episode focused on a different character. It was an ensemble cast. SS2 was just the Pang/Wave/Grace show. If I was writing this season, I would have done this:
Have Pang actually use his team Have Mon fight more!! Have Korn realize the beauty in his power and use him to draw up plans for the team during the evenings Have Chanon help Korn with calculations and measurements for the plans Have Ohm make more baddies disappear Have Wave develop his potential instead of being Pang’s puppy dog Have Claire utilize her power to tell which of the bad guys are lying Have the twins infiltrate the Ministry and confuse them by being identical
All of these would have made for an amazing season, but instead it was more of a political and ideological battle throughout. It was very difficult to follow and I really didn’t enjoy it. Also, like others have mentioned, the ending is terrible. What happens when you activate a student who can make things explode or start fires or stop people’s hearts from working? It’s dangerous and irresponsible.
