you know what? shin was being really careful at the end, he was looking both ways before he crossed. he wasn't stepping out yet cause there were lots of cars going by. he was finally happy. from his dialogue in the first episode, we knew he says that keng is the only one that hasn't changed. keng is the one still hung up on shin, he could never be happy. i believe (or i want to believe) that because of this, it was keng that got hit by the car.
honestly, i hate open endings, but the way it's written, it really makes it believable for it to have gone either way. in terms of open endings, it was well done.
the ending was really jarring and upsetting to me at first, but then i considered that the effet is about the effect that online bullying has on people, and how deeply it can affect lives for a long time. i think one of the most important things is that shin said those malicious commenters have moved on, they don't even remember the things they said anymore -- but he, the one who was affected by all of this, perhaps hasn't. he said that he's moved on and is happy now, but by his line about keng -- "if i had explained better, things wouldn't have ended up like this" -- we as the viewers know that he is still facing the effects of those events, even five years later. that's how far reaching the effect is. and in that case, the ending makes more sense.
i got so melancholy when shin, pramote, and bright were reminiscing about their friendship, and how shin said he wished he had more memories with them. i'm almost crying right now, thinking about it ): i'm so confused by the ending -- who died? -- but i wish shin had taken pramote up on his offer to walk him home ):
i'm... so... sad.... but loved james as shin so much, amazing acting. i hope he gets more main roles in the future. would love to see james, yacht, and top in a series again as friends. their friendship was the best part of the series.

Does anyone want to recommend any other Thai series that I would like if I LOVE LBC? It's my favorite Thai drama -- I've watched Sotus and 2 Moons as well, since they come highly recommended, and I really enjoyed them, but Love By Chance is by far my favorite.
